    sure, but still, while Varlamov's numbers aren't too shabby either, they are nowhere near Sorokin's, yet they play behind the same defense.

    I think he leads the league in number of shutouts for the past few seasons... by a mile. this is from an article from January: he later recorded another two shutouts before the regular season ended

    scored one of my absolute favorite goals of all time, and proved he can be a ~30 goal scorer but damn, that's a lot of money and term for a 33-year-old... but I guess the Ducks have that kind of capspace so that they just don't care.
