  1. Sorry but where did all this Klingberg talk come from? Is it the same guy as the one who nailed us last night??

hes the highest scoring rookie dman, hes a beut. benning should trade for him imo

  2. When I suggest Burrows might go it is not a put down of him. He has never got the credit he deserved for how much he has helped those he played with. I mention his name solely because I suspect JB has received many calls about acquiring him. He could be a big part of any serious CUP contender. If he stays with Van he could continue to be a mentor for the young players coming up over the next few years. Unfortunately it does not always work out that way.

wtf are you talking about? we shouldent trade a player because he didnt get the credit he deserved? wow hes a mentor?! you are literally stating why hes valuable ...

  3. Dasein;

It would be a sad day when/if Burrows was traded. To say it won't happen is not a given.

Van's depth is increasing greatly but the issue still remains on the d-side IMHO. If JB has a PMD d-man draft in his sites he might move Van vets to make it happen. The keys in such a move could be Burrows and Bieksa and of course Miller. Much of this could depend on whether Van makes playoffs and if they do how well they perform. I am assuming that if Van gets smoked it will allow JB to accelerate the process.

    klingberg is the pmd \

    pp:

    Sedin - Sedin - Vrbata

    Edler - Klingberg

  4. ...

    this makes me cringe

    fixed*

    - Sedin - Sedin - Kassian

    - Baertschi - Bonino - Vrbata

    - Matthias - Horvat - Vey

    - Kenins - Richardson - Hansen

    - Edler - Klingberg

    - Clendening - Hamhuis

    - Bieksa - Tanev

no particular line orders either buds

  5. I would say that the current read on 2014 is similar to what it was before the draft. I don't think there is any doubt that that Ekblad is #1 and that Reinhart, Bennett and Draisaitl are the next three, probably in that order.

Then we drop down to Dal Colle, Virtanen, Nylander and Ehlers. And in the actual draft, Fleury went before Nylander (surprisingly).

My personal ranking of these guys now is Nylander, Virtanen, Dal Colle and Ehlers. But it is too early to say much. These guys have not separated themselves yet.

I personally favored Nylander over Virtanen before the draft but I was happy to see the Canucks pick a local guy. And the Canucks can use Virtanen's toughness and intensity. Nylander would have helped the Canucks fill the "skill gap" that will emerge as the Sedins age, but picking up Baertschi helps.

    this is me also.

  6. In a sad display last night against the Avs I thought Vey Baertschi had a decent game. Hoping he comes back next fall a little stronger. Schroeder has looked decent last few Minnie games but the comparison is not fair to Beartschi Vey. IMHO Vey Baertschi is ahead of Schroeder even up and yet Vey Baertschi is younger.

  7. Schroeder and Vey are pretty close to equal. If Schroeder got as much ice time as Vey, played on the top pp unit, and was as sheltered as Vey he would have more points than Vey.

Also, it was hilarious seeing Schroeder outmuscle Vey leading to a goal last time we played the Wild. Perfect irony.

    baertschi ?

  8. I like this lineup. Burrows and Kassian could be interchangable depending on who is hot at the time with the twins. Horvat has played so well with Kennins and Hansen, I'd hope it would translate to other players as well, but it will have to be tested sooner or later. If Baertschi transitions well, that's a solid second line.

What would you do with Clendenning? He's waiver elligable next year and I don't imagine he would clear.

a sbisa clendening line would be nice if we trade hamhuis but other than that im not sure, we have an exes of players in general due to the fact that we have so many players that want to push for perminant positions such as corrado, clendening, jensen, grenier, baertschi...

were going to have to make trades on players like higgins, burrows, hamhuis, bieksa, whether people like or not lol

  9. 1. Baertchi may end up a first liner, but not next year

    2. Bonino has a long way to go still as well

I'd like to see a redesigned first line by the 16/17 season, and from there on have the Sedin's play a 2nd line supporting role. However it will likely be 2017 and beyond before that happens.

    3. Jensen has been pushed even further down the depth chart, and likely will be pushed further still by the 2015 1st rounder

As others have mentioned, how do everyday NHLers just evaporate? Some of those are potential trade pieces but you don't show anything coming back to explain their disappearance. Also don't get your hopes up about Burrows being gone next season. Slot him in where you had Jensen.

    4. Clendening has seemed sturdy thus far, but has yet to prove he is anywhere close to a top4 dman in the NHL. He just got sent down to Utica which isn't helping your case

    ok ill fix it

    Sedin - Sedin - Kassian

    Baertschi - Bonino - Vrbata

    Matthias - Horvat - Burrows

    Kenins - Richardson - Dorsett

    Edler - Tanev

    Sbisa - Hamhuis

    Bieksa - Corrado

    trades:

    jensen, hansen, Higgins for picks and draft;

Kylington, G.Carlsson, Chlapik, Hintz, Gagne, and Malgin

  10. request denied, and spell the kids name right.

    virtenen* sorry mr grindr

i deffinity think virtanen should be traded imo take him for a 9 game trial and use the drisaitle method

  11. Well, this will either prove my IQ is above average or it will prove how low yours is. Your sentence of "unless you prove us otherwise." is about as poorly written as it could possibly be. I will rephrase that so you understand. The sentence you wrote is prove of poorly otherwise could be. Again, don't troll above your IQ level, you will be made to look the fool.

This message sent from on high, while Brick stands on the superstar owner of multiple high horses... <- wait for it.... there it is...

  14. Very creative, the fact you keep responding to me means I have a bigger impact on your life than you want me to. What does society think of you?

you think your clever but the even more obvious point is that you made your own point mute. or you are using your own point against yourself, which is really stupid imho
