    I would be extremely disappointed if we aren’t able to sign AT LEAST 2 of Comtois/Geekie/Fischer/Soucy considering the need to reconstruct our trash ass bottom 6 and a SAH defenseman for Hronek.

    Anyone remember Comtois being regarded as a top 5 pick in before the 2017 season. I used to be very high on the kid. He’s put up solid numbers in the AHL, and has been good as a physical middle 6 guy in the NHL. He has size, speed, and some skill as well as snarl that would be real nice on the third line. Soucy, one of Comtois or Fischer, and Geekie and would be my targets. No to Cole, Compher, ROR, or Holl. Foote I’d pass. His skating is horrendous and lacks hockey IQ.

    Actually, Myers to SJ is on the contingent that a Karlsson deal gets done. But yes, Myers, Beauvillier, and perhaps even Garland would definitely be in line with the “major surgery”

    Don’t mind a bottom 6 of: Comtois/Geekie/Fischer Joshua/Aman/MacEwen Speed, size, and grit. Like that is a SIGNIFICANTLY better bottom 6 than Studnicka, Dries, and like whatever else was there. All under 26 and with the current age of the core. Beauvillier or Garland would have to go.

    Comtois, Geekie, Fischer, MacEwen, Foote, Bastian, and Gadjovich are some of the guys I’d be interested in for sure. Especially Geekie and Fischer.

    Zack MacEwen, Jonah Gadjovich, Tyler Motte and Will Lockwood are all UFA’s. Honestly wouldn’t mind MacEwen and Motte back. Joshua/MacEwen/Motte on the 4th line would be dynamite.

    So basically We traded Hamonic for Ottawa’s 3rd round pick which was 80th. We traded our own pick which was 79th to Toronto for Dermott. We drafted Pettersson with Ottawa’s third. Toronto traded our 3rd to Vegas I believe or some shit.
