Honestly what more does he have to prove in NCAA let him play out training camping if he good enough sign him and if he has growing pain coming into the NHL let him tough it out what can that hurt. If he need AHL time give him that. Kids confidence is sky high

I like the way you worded that both player bring completely different pedigrees but the value in what they do is similar. I was talking to my friend that was a Toronto fan a while ago trying to convince him that Bo to our team is like Matthew to his just in what they do for the team i never said bo was as skilled or anything but possibly more valuable in more sitautions. And my main point was look that the canucks 15 games after he was injured just shows how Valuable he was to us.

I said Tanev warranted a spot he was injuried I was going off of their play drive and success DP- I liked watching but just didn’t bring it every night which made him a scratch, also really needed to work on his defensive zone. BH- really just regressed really badly. TS- just really didn’t put up the numbers need but was alright in his zone but really didn’t play good enough to warrant a spot. EG- what can I say, he hasn’t been a physical presence and hasn’t been great in any zone he’s played in hope he shows more being fully healthy MDZ- I liked his game but at times you’re just scratching your head looking at what he did but yeah he was put in a tough position last year maybe he warrants something. From what i watched last year there is only 2 D that warrent a roster spot and that is Elder and Tanev. IMO

I think that idea of having that top line should at the least be tried in pre-season because Boeser can carry his weight and someone elses on that second line

Based off this season i think brock could score 35-40 without EP, that being said id be aiming for around 50 with EP if his game translates quickly.

Say Jake pots 25 Goals or around there and averages like 10-15 assist a season would you call that a solid second liner or still a fringe Edit: i feel like if he plays with EP scoring will come a lot easier for him

I have faith he’ll be good but as much as i want to see EP play i am more excited to see how much of a steal the Burrows trade will be super stoked to see Dahlen play in the NHL
