Pretty sure the winning has less to do with the “vets” and more to do with having actual goaltending back there. A good goalie instilled confidence that the team can go up and play more offensively and not worry as much on the back end

Any reports on OJ’s knee?

So 2 good wins for Demko coming off his concussion injury and you don’t find that as a win.... seem like there might be some real stability in Utica and you going to go nit pick and fish for something to discredit it. This is getting sad.

In all fairness both teams are in between a rock and a hard place which will trigger some to over react. And really blaming green for injuries? Lol

@UticaHockey Not trying to sound like that guy but Solid goaltending tonight led to a good win, not going to saying that was there only issue but sure looked to me like throughout the start of the season the Goaltending has been the root of the problem. Timely saves are everything in most leagues

Well you can’t be a good team forever parts need to be in place for that to happen ( Unless you are the Patriots ) I genuinely think once the Canucks get healthier the comet could start putting some piece together but the “uninspired hockey” I hate to say it but it looks like the comets after they get scored on it deflates the entire team. They need a real leader for that team but all I have to say is It sucks to suck.

That is a tough stretch but your goalie is out for a prolonged period of time the big clubs injuries are piling up and you guys had good center depth but that got destroyed with the call ups and leadership probably wasn’t a problem until Gaunce Archinald and Beiga got called up. Not to mention that if you guys had all those people goals against would probably go down do to having more complete players.... you guys are dealing with exactly what we are dealing with in the big club LOTS OF KEY GUYS BEING OUT OF THE LINEUP. I know it’s hard to watch but just keep being a fan things will hopefully get better

I don’t know why so many people are butt hurt over OJ he is showing great offensive prowess in Utica right now. You can teach defensive and I feel once you gets more familiar with the league his defensive style will come in but showing the offensive tools that he’s got has been great. Once Demko gets back in the crease his plus minus with be better but I honestly like majority things I’m seeing from OJ so far, watched about 10-12 of the game

I don’t see EP ever joining Utica, risk of injury isn’t good also I see as soon as his season ends that kids is so driven his training will probably start that kid looks like the type to bust his A$& to get better.

I face palm everything I see this, has everyone forgot he played for London In the OHL?

I am a fan of his game mainly because of the potential he has/had, but lately I’m finding myself very frustrated with all the mistakes he’s make. Yesterday when he was on the PP that was really pathetic and when Edler is back I hope he doesn’t even get Hutton spot. All these little mistakes have crept his way into his game and he really need to clean it up, the wake up call for him is going to be when Edler is healthy and joulevi and Hughes make the jump. He really needs to stop turning the puck over in bads spots, I understand mistakes happen but the way they are happening to this guy is unreal, Also he’s pretty snake bitten when it come to scoring. But I have liked the way he rushes the puck up ice, he surely isn’t lacking confidence and I hope that continues and he gets on the score board more often.
