    When did fans stop throwing hats and stuff onto the ground for hat tricks?

     

    I just noticed how few hats are thrown now a days after watching highlights.

      when you pay 90 dollars for a hat from the canucks store its not likely im going to throw it on the ice after paying 400 dollars a ticket and 12 dollars a beer to get within throwing range.

      Plenty get thrown at Sabres games when someone gets a hatty.  Our ticket prices though are only in the middle range of the league.
