      Miller doesn't fit capwise for the Rangers anymore, their signing Trocheck was likely the death knell for a Rangers trade

      Even though the Rangers have anticipated TDL cap space of around $6 million, adding Miller doesn't bode well for their future (Chytil/ Lafreniere/ K'Andre/ Kravtsov are all expiring RFAs after this season for the Rangers).  

      If the Devils are in on this I would be down too.  Their long-term contracts are Jack Hughes, Hischier, Dougie Hamilton, Marino, Palat and Vanecek, which looks like a pretty good core (couple #1 C's, plus an offensive D, defensive D, top-6 Cup winning wing and #1 G).  If they would mortgage some of their future to get Miller then I'd want some of their RFA kids coming back, it'd be quite the haul and we would help them as their Cup window opens.  Severson, Mercer and Shak IMO would be a great return.
