    With Edler potentially injured, do we claim Streit? Would be a potential trade chip at deadline and cost nothing. Might just depend on how long Edlers injured but he'd be a good vet presence for our backend.

      Wouldn't be terrible as a backup at the NHL level so we don't have to call up guys to sit in the pressbox.  Wouldn't want him for much more than that though.  Let's see what Pouliot can do.

      Ya Im excited to see what Pouliot can do, but that then becomes a very young back end. What happens if Edlers out for a while and Del Zotto or Hutton get injured. We have decent depth but need to keep some vets in the lineup. If Edlers injured I think we should claim Streit. Best case scenario is Streit plays well and is a trade trip at the deadline or if he doesn't you waive him and move on.
