    Honestly think theres a chance Gaudette makes the team out of camp, even ahead of Pettersson. Don't get me wrong I think Pettersson makes the team pretty quick here but wouldn't be disappointed to see Gaudette make the team out of camp and Pettersson start the season centring Uticas top line with Dahlen and Lind.

     

    Gaudette just looks more NHL ready, not more talented, and not a better player then Pettersson in the long run, but more ready for the rigours of the centre ice position in the NHL.

      Ya, I'm cheering for Gaudette too. Can't look past his Hobey Baker award, there's too many recent winners who have gone on to immediate success to ignore it. 

       

      I'm thinking Gaudette and Pettersson make the team. As to how that shakes out, i'm not sure. But if for a second we're to give guys like Gaunce, Granlund or Goldobin priority due to waiver stats, the Canucks would lose any credibility.

      I might agree with you if I didn't have the feeling that Pettersson was basically promised a roster spot when he signed his contract.
