    Wonder if you could swing Myers (25%retained) + Lockwood for Puljujarvi+Ceci.

     

    Saves Edmonton money. Gives us an equally good slightly younger defensemen and a middle six winger.

      I thought Ceci looked pretty good over there this past year?  (He scored more than Myers)
      If the Oilers do it I'd definitely do it too; given our forward logjam, Poolparty's rights as sweetener for someone like Dickinson would be great IMO (top-6 forward and another not-overly-expensive defensive forward, say to Arizona or Anaheim, even if it's for future considerations).  Then pair Ceci with OEL and hopefully see the Swede play more offensively again.

      Why? We have 6 plus wingers better than Poolparty. Ceci and Myers is basically a wash

      Poolparty is a high end third line player that can slot into the top 6 when needed
