I actually 100% agree with this. From a marketing point of view Woo would be a big add

 

He also could be the perfect fit for Hughes going forward.

 

The only thing that has really bugged me the last 5ish years has been prospects not given a chance. Look at Chatfield for example, how nice it’d be to have him being the defensively responsible coloured (lack of better word) partner for Hughes

Haha for sure, but I understand we also need to be getting better on our NHL roster and Hronek should be a very positive change for us. Allows Hughes to eat less minutes and lowers Myers role while giving some actual presence on the right side allowing young prospects to be filtered in.

 

Hoping we sign Schenn tomorrow and can flip Myers for some actual value next deadline and get Woo or Johansson playing some actual minutes

I have Truscott higher for sure. Kid isn’t elite offensively but has a lot of tools. Id put him above Mynio on that list.

I don’t hate drafting this guy like most. If he’s seen as having an actual NHL future then that’s what your targeting in later rounds.

 

People acting like some of these other later prospects have as much or more potential but in the end you never really know

We're going to get a good player at 11th. I just don't see why we want to give up more assets (which we cannot afford to) to move up unless we're getting someone like Michkov. 

If we move up I think it’s Columbus we’re targeting and Carlsson.

If Woo’s ready then there’s a spot for him. If we draft one of those guys they are going to need time to develop.
