    Why would anyone be worried about who a player is friends with back in Sweden? Dahlen proved that not only is he not NHL caliber, but his attitude/drive is so far below what is a base requirement that he doesn't stand a chance unless he changes a lot

    I'd like to say that Poolman playing over his contract would make specific people in this thread eat their words, however, they'd just find their next target to complain about. Benning has had an amazing offseason, time to cap it off with the two biggest signings for this franchise

    My thinking is more along the lines of, if we're moving on from Quinn, I want a potential lottery ticket in the form of their unprotected 1st. Smith and Bahl are nice, but Quinn is the kind of player we have to maximize return on if we're going to move

    At the point where I think sports media is a scourge on society, and we would be better off -without- them. 90% of stuff that comes from media, especially so in Vancouver is toxic in nature and really only put out there to cause chaos/division amongst fans. If we could ship all of these guys off to Florida for the next trade, please Jim?

    I think my favorite part about this trade isn't that we're a better team now than we were before it, it's that we get to see all of the complaints about this. Very similar reaction to when we picked up Miller Absolutely love the trade

    Has nothing to do with trading for a player we let go for nothing. We let him go for nothing because the contract Calgary gave him was not something we were interested in doing. Simple as that

    I don't think I'd hold it against a player for trying to get more than his current team is willing to pay though either. Its their career after all It would depend who the team was, but I think I still rather EP40
