Not a great sign when two of the league's lowest scoring teams can come back from a deficit and take the lead in the 3rd. -

I know people have been ragging on Green to scratch Loui in favour of MacEwan, but Roussel deserves to scratched more. The guy's been invisible in the last 15 games or so. -

That third line can do damage in the offensive zone, but they are tough to watch in the D zone. They consistently get hemmed in their own zone for lengthy shifts at least 2-3 times a game. Hope they can turn that around. -
I like the trade, even though the price is steep. I also appreciate the management going all in (like the Blue Jackets) to get into the playoffs. The Canucks have as good a chance to make it into the dance this year than they have in 5 years and our core is set for the next 5 years or so. Risky move, but this team needs the playoff experience.

[Signing] Ducks re-sign Nicolas Deslauriers
pluralsight replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Deslauriers was a defenseman all throughout Junior and in the AHL. It was only when he was called up to the NHL in Buffalo that he was converted to a forward: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/nicolas_deslauriers/ -

From stud D man in junior and the minors to a 4th line enforcer in the NHL. Interesting career for Deslauriers so far. -

Green went off on the officiating (or lack there of) after the Bruins game. This is definitely a scripted response, as I’m sure he’s been talked to by management or the league to watch what he says about the refs. -

Loui has 5G, 3A in 8 career games against Boston. Good bet he scores today
