Hi guys! Sorry to say, but I'm stepping away as GM from the Dallas Stars. Even though I was here for only 2 years it was fun and was able to see my Dallas Stars compete hard for the Covid cup. I may be here spectating the league as a fan of the Dallas Stars or maybe just be a AGM to the new GM if he wants, but unfortunately I don't currently have the time to focus on the best moves for the team Thanks all and good luck in the future seasons!

Miller will lead the team in scoring again, however Petey not far behind as both will finish top 10 in the league in scoring and the league will finally wake up to see that Miller is actually a top 25 player in this league. Canucks will be the Canadian team to get out of the division beating the Laffs in the first round and the Calgary Canucks in the second. They will face Colorado either in the conference final or SCF cementing what this league can expect as powerhouses for the next 10+ years.

They had just signed Pietrangelo. Basically what their management is thinking is that they traded Schmidt for a 3rd and Pietrangelo. They had to trade Schmidt in less than 24 hours cause they were 10% over the cap. They were desperate. They’re lucky they even got a pick for him cause if no teams gave in they woulda had to sell pretty hard to avoid repercussions. Guess what? Benning took advantage. He got a number 2 defenseman on a good contract for pennies on the dollar. Idk how much hockey you watch but I do a fair bit and Schmidt is a helluva player.

And Edler just missed. Basically means we have 3 of the top 60 defensemen in the NHL fantasy wise. Who woulda thunk it before this past season?

For all those complaining about the cap hit...he has a lower cap hit than Edler and is 6 years younger. He’s also has more offence than Edler and might be an overall better player. This is a helluva deal to have this good a contract for the next 5 years for a top pairing defenseman
