I love Bo. He’s going to be the picture perfect 2nd line center for a few years and then he will be an excellent third line center to close out his career. Be happy those days are coming.

Jake is so out of shape all the time yet one of the fastest guys on the ice. I would of run the lines that got me to the play ins with Ferland in instead of Rooster or Sutter. I’m sorry but not playing the lotto line together just smells of trying to be “tricky” or some other nonsense to me. Not to mention Toff, Bo, Pearson all play the same type of game that would compliment each other. Let’s forget all that and throw everyone in the blender like they’re down by a goal and haven’t been able to get anything going for a whole game. It’s like it works in reverse with Greener. Always fixing things that aren’t broken. Just saying. Jake beat a wild defenseman to an icing. Had the nice back check. Had the good chance with a half slapper. Had a nice shot that Rooster blocked with his head. Also on a shift with Pearson and Bo (after a pk) the line got hemmed in their own zone for a bit of time. As soon as Jakes check got the puck he made a simple move your feet play to force a crappy pass and ultimately they got the puck back. I don’t have a photographic memory but I can remember all of that pretty easily. Mainly because I was watching his play tonight as I thought the decision to bench him was a poor one.

Yeah I agree he didn’t play well. This is where a coach steps in and helps him achieve his potential. Let’s see how Green handles him the rest of the way. I have a feeling he’s gone unless Sutter gets hurt which he likely will.

Gaudette did not have a great game 1 of this series. Here’s a thought. Coach the kid. Don’t bench him.

Maybe Goldy should play with Bo and Ferland/Pearson. Never really understood why he didn’t get a look with Bo who is very responsible defensively.

Juo is money in the bank. With Edler inked he has sometime to develop and that’s ok. Think Pod, Juo, and Jake hitting their stride in the nhl all around the same time. 3 years from now is this groups time and they will have a short window to get it done before prospects and cap push a few of them out.

I firmly believe Gaudette will be a way better player than Sutter and I don’t dislike Sutters game. I’m just that high on the kid.

Pay the complete 3 and a team like Ottawa might actually give something up to get him. When does LE’s next list of teams he would play for come out? On the 15th I think?

That’s ok too. I think he’s more of a Bo or Brendan Morrison as far as developing goes. Let him learn in the NHL. Shrug.
