  1. Merrill is up to 2.58 FPs/G Pysyk is up to 2.64 FPs/G Reimer is up to 6.96 FPs/G If you're looking to secure a playoff spot, don't sleep on these playoff-bound hunks of love
  2. Oh you're not wrong there. I just feel sorry for the guy.
  3. Here was me about to say that whoever has him has just seen his value dip sharply #firstroundexit #cuplesswonders
  4. Neither of those guys bought out Ryan Kesler, just so you know
  5. Attention all teams fighting for a playoff spot / looking to improve their roster in advance of the post-season - the following players are available from the Ottawa Senators and will help your team when it really matters. Send me a PM to start a conversation - we are willing to consider taking players on non-playoff teams as part of any deal but we are mostly interested in acquiring more draft picks (even in 2021). F ALEX CHIASSON (EDM) $2.5m > 2021 111.5 FPs at 2.42/G D JON MERRILL (VGK) $1.575m > 2021 85.25 FPs at 2.13/G D MARK PYSYK (FLA) $1.75m > 2021 84 FPs at 2.15/G G JAMES REIMER (CAR) $2.5m this season, $5m > 2021 130 FPs at 6.5/G
  6. Think that should read 1-2-3, with the 2 being Detroit and not those golf-playing, Disney-loving part-timers in Florida
  7. Future NJ Devils GM in the making, amirite @Mike Vanderhoek?
  8. It's one of those trades where I'm not sure who wins, but Montreal got the best player in the deal so I'd side with them 51-49.
  9. I think you should immediately cancel every and all retentions, league-wide. Just imagine the absolute carnage of some teams being below the cap floor and others being $30m over
  10. On Fantrax, the player is moved by the GM onto IR. His cap reduction remains, thus artificially lowering your cap for the duration of his time on IR. So some teams with players on IR for the rest of their careers, those teams are actually getting cap relief from doing so.
  11. I know Toronto needs Dmen CS but come on
  12. One thing I did notice - not just on apollo's team page - is that if a team has a player on IR, they're still benefitting from cap retention on previous trades. Does this happen in the NHL?
  13. WAIVERS: The Detroit Red Wings place F Greg McKegg on waivers and assign him to our minor team. CALLUP: The Detroit Red Wings callup F Max Comtois and place him on the active roster.
  14. You have a $2.25m cap penalty against Justin Williamd that @Master Mind can take off your page. Also, drop by and say hi, I have three goalies
  15. https://discord.gg/6d8sxz See you in a few!
  16. The Ottawa Senators place the following players on waivers: David Backes Daniel Carr Andrew Ladd Kevin Connauton Matt Tennyson Frans Nielsen Trevor Daley Sven Baertschi @Master Mind
  17. They could have had his leadership qualities as assistance coach though. Needn't have upset the team's chemistry, nor the section of the fanbase that didn't want him back after he sat the first half of the season out.
  18. My AHL first liner Justin Bailey just scored his 3rd hat-trick in a week. Never heard of the like, not since Gretzky's day
  19. @Bombastik der Teutone I TOLD YOU TO TALK TO ME IF YOU EVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT MOVING PETTERSSON
  20. I feel like a good half of this thread is just @Mike Vanderhoek shuffling players up and down to eke out a couple of extra points a week
  21. The first hit was not clean. Charged him, glanced through his shoulder but primary contact was with the head. Should see supplemental discipline. As should Kass for (rightly) beating the hell out of Tkachuk.
  22. Considering he invented it, I'd assume he's a fan of it.
  23. The Detroit Red Wings are looking to add players and are willing to part with picks and/or prospects to make a sensible deal or three.
  24. WAIVERS: The Detroit Red Wings place F Brendan Gaunce on waivers and assign him to the minors. CALLUP: The Detroit Red Wings call up F Greg McKegg and place him on the active roster.
