With free agency basically over now, any GMs looking to improve their teams should come a-knocking in Ottawa - we have some depth players available who will help you in both the regular and post-seasons:
Patrick Marleau (Pittsburgh)
Joe Thornton (Toronto, eww)
Alex Chiasson (Edmonton)
Andrew Ladd (NY Islanders)
Mark Pysyk (Dallas)
Derek Forbort (Winnipeg)
Aaron Dell (Toronto)
And players who are only good until golfing season starts:
Jon Merrill (Detroit)
Darren Helm (Detroit)
Alex Biega (Detroit)
How's this for cherry picked stats:
Tierney 41.6% OZ starts
Virtanen 52%
Tierney 2 PP points
Virtanen 9 PP points
One of these things is not like the other. I could provide another 10 stats to prove this point.
@Master Mind
Any chance of Fantrax being updated? There's quite a few picks been made since the last one and I do all this on mobile, which makes working out who's been picked a real ball-ache
Another big thing that's overlooked is how few penalties Schmidt takes. He's averaged one penalty every 9 games so far in his career - contrast that with Tyler Myers and his 12 penalties in 10 games and how many times his laxness cost us in games. Not only does Schmidtty stay on the ice, he contributes offensively whilst being good defensively. He's the best all-round D this team has acquired via trade since 1994, if not earlier.
In light of the impact of Covid-19 on the organization's operations, the Detroit Red Wings amend their front office budgets as follows:

Player Relations: $35m
Minors budget: $20m
Player Development: $0
Also, when does the buyout window close @canuck2xtreme?
Carrier, yep. Stephenson plays up and down the lineup so he's a hard guy to compare to anyone. Plays center and wing, plays PP and PK, his usage is all over the shop. Vegas management loves his versatility clearly!
With the 111th selection of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft the Ottawa Senators select, from the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL, Brady Burns.
