  1. We can't rely on Marky forever. I think JB made the right move to let Marky go, especially with the expansion draft coming around the corner. I don't think goaltending is currently the issue right now, the defense is terrible and I guess a lot of it is due to the tough schedule and the lack of practice time. I do agree though that Toffoli should've been resigned, especially at 4.25 M. And Stetcher of course.
  2. Seems like as soon as he got more playing time, his stats just keep going up and up. Looking like an absolute star right now, can't wait to see him in a Canucks jersey soon.
  3. When do you guys think nightclubs will open up? I feel like even after the vaccine roll out, I highly doubt these clubs will open up immediately and a lot of people are saying that we won't see these places open till the end of 2022.
  4. Didn't Benning completely ignore Tanev, Stetch, and Toffoli though? I get not signing them, but there still should be some sort of communication.
  5. Tbh it could be. I think the main issue going on in the locker room is how everything was handled. Not being in touch with Tanev, stalling talks with Toffoli and Marky, and now again stalling talks with Green, it really isn't a good look. It's one thing when you don't resign players that have been with the org for a long time and have positively impacted the org over the years, but it's another thing when you sort of disrespect them in free agency. That could be something that our star players may be thinking about, but I guess we'll never really know.
  6. I feel like a lot of the reason behind this move is to slowly integrate Benn and Chatfield in the lineup. Injuries will occur regardless, I think Green knows that the Sens aren't too bad of a matchup and to give Benn and Chatfield some time to get there legs going could be a good thing, even though I wish they kept Juolevi in to keep up the momentum he has going for him.
  7. Been on this board for a long time but was always so lazy to make an account, so I might as well devote my first reply to a Olli Juolevi post! In all honesty, I loved him when he played with London and I think that injuries certainly hurt his development. He's been looking better each and every game, and I really feel like all he needs is more time to develop and work on his weaknesses. Excited to see him play more and I really hope Green continues to up his ice time in the future. While I don't think he's going to be a dman who nets us 40+ points a year, I think he'll be an integral part to a future championship run for sure.
