1.If Markstrom could have scored a goal.... thats the only thing that would have impressed me more then him standing on his head tonight. !! 2.Loved Hrudey giving him the top tender respect tonight. Also Bieksa telling Elliot that’s “the only six pack you’ll ever see” without cracking a smile. What a beauty. 3. gutsy win by the boys tonight. Loved Motter you could see these goals coming he’s working it. Virtanen gets some real minutes and produces. Hopefully silencing his hate fan club in the forum for just one day. 4. can we please not stand around and create a shooting gallery at the end of every game when we are ahead by one goal. I’d prefer not to have a heart attack !

PREDICT THE SCORE CONTEST: Canucks vs Blues, Game 3, August 16th 2020

4-3 Canucks Brock B. -
There is an unwritten rule thats existed since I’ve watched hockey. The Stanley cup champs get away with more then the teams trying to de-throne the champs. It’s like they earn it with the cup. It’s not against the Canucks it would be that way any team the Blues play. Canucks and every team has to overcome that. I love that the Canucks seem to understand that. They aren’t whining they are just overcoming !!

That was another great game!! So impressed with our canucks resilience. I think the blues deserved overtime and the Canucks need to Learn that they can’t win hoping to protect a lead they have to stay aggressive you could see that goal coming by the end of the third the cancuks started playing a little scared. but these are great character builders for the Canucks, and they are finding more and more confidence that they are a top tier team. Horvat was straight up Beast Mode tonight. His game is unreal right now !! Markstrom was rock solid. Hopefully Myers will be ok looked like a dislocated shoulder maybe? Hopefully not a broken collar bone. Game three is going to be intense !

WCQF: (4) St. Louis Blues vs. (5) Vancouver Canucks

Well who cares at some point you have to see what your team is made of. Pretty cool actually that the Canucks get the Blues. It’s like getting to fight the title fight (final boss) without having to go through all the hassel of beating lesser opponents. There is no athlete that doesn’t want that shot to prove themselves. Here it is. This will be a war. I’m sticking with Canucks. ! Faster and younger vrs Heavier and more experienced. -
Is the season a success no matter what else happens?

We are all talking about our team in a positive light! there are so many good things to say happened this year. Miller ends up being a stud. Pearson is a 20 goal man Petterson is getting stronger Boeser is healthy into playoffs! And looking tops. That’s not what I would have predicted. Markstrom is pushing to be a legit top ten Goalie Hughes is a phenom Myers is as expected. I think he will get stronger in the playoffs. This year has been a growing year. There were some great runs of wins And bad runs of losses depending on what month they played, but the team never seemed down they always seemed like everything was achievable. I’m a believer. This team might not go far in playoffs but I will be watching every game with the hope they can and who knows there is game stealing talent on our team something we haven’t had for a bit. Wether it’s determined players or a goalie on any given night we can win a game in different ways. That’s a sign of a true team. Expectations exceeded
