  1. Well they were .500 and they were coming off a big win over the Blazers. So a 9-2 win was a nice surprise. Then an 8-2 win tonight Should I say it again? This team can score!
  2. Wow big win tonight 9-2 over the Blades. I've said it all year, this team can score. Finally getting healthy again.
  3. Well I hope Toronto can stop them in the Grey Cup...go underdogs!
  4. I swear everytime Calgary has possession they get a first down, FG, or TD every play...
  5. what a difference in just 60 seconds...
  6. Man the D looks bad today....picked an awful time to have an "off" game.
  7. If anyone is not in Canada and needs a link to the game pm me
  8. Same story again tonight. Kelowna outshoots TCs 44-25 and loses 3-2. So for the back to back two game series Kelowna outshot them 87-47 and lost both games. Stupid WHL
  9. Again no luck for the Rockets last night in TC. Outshooting the Americans 43-22 and leading 2-0 - end up falling 3-2 in regulation.
  10. And time will expire! Big 3-2 win against a tough opponent! Win streak stretches to 4 games Whistle won this game for us tonight - looked solid.
  11. Tough game tonight with the Oil Kings - Rockets have lost once 4-1 to the Oil Kings already this season and Edmonton is coming off just beating Kamloops. 1-1 early in the first.
  12. Lol I'll rub it in your face when the Blazers win the WHL this year. Be all like "oh yeah well remember in October when we beat you 3-0...bam."
  13. Yeah it's fun to listen to. If I'm listening and studying sometimes it's like "Oooooooooooooh! Offside by an inch." And I'm thinking the way he yelled I thought someone just hit the post or something. But yeah great game to listen to tonight! I had a feeling the Rockets would pull it off. Final shots 26-19 Kelowna and the Blazers first regulation loss of the season!
  14. He's my favourite haha. Get's so into it and calls the games fairly unbiased (like with regards to penalties and giving other teams credit when its due etc).
  15. Well Rockets are 0-1-1 vs. the Blazers this year both games were one goal games and the Rockets held a slight 66-65 shot advantage over the course of those two games. So I would expect a good game tonight though in junior hockey a 1-0 game one night can be a 7-1 game the next night with the same teams playing....it's very unpredictable.
  16. Well didn't deserve that one, got outshot pretty badly. Still giving up a lead going into the third to lose 5-3 is tough to take. Still some bright spots through the first 15 games - only teams in the West that have more GF's than Kelowna are Kamloops and Spokane (the two division leaders).
  17. That goalie used to also play for Portland and earlier this year the Rockets had 33 shots on him and lost 1-0 to the Winterhawks. Guess he just has our number.
  18. Well I had season tickets for 10 years but I live in California now for the next 4 years...so no but I have listened to a few of them. Tonight we should have won hands down - outshot them 58-28 and lost in a SO...no fair! Rockets have had bad luck this year so far. But I will go to three games when I'm home for Christmas!
  19. The Kelowna Rockets have added a veteran Western Hockey League forward to its roster as it headed out on a four game road trip to Alberta. The Rockets have picked up 20-year-old forward Cody Fowlie off WHL waivers after he was released by the Everett Silvertips last week. A native of Airdie, Alberta, this season is Fowlie's third in the WHL. Last year he played 72 games with Everett, scoring 14 goals and adding 26 assists. A 6-foot, 205 pound right winger, Fowlie played 70 games in his rookie season in the WHL, scoring seven goals and adding eight assists, also with Everett. The Rockets begin a four game road trip Wednesday night in Medicine Hat. Fowlie is expected to be in the line-up. The team will also play Red Deer, Edmonton and Calgary on the trip.
  20. Never thought I'd ever see anyone say that
  21. Rockets get a big win tonight minus Olsen who's serving a suspension as well as players like Franko and Rigby.
