  1. I find it quite interesting that Jim has found his stride since Linden left. It cannot be denied that Jim is a great evaluator of talent. Our young talent is the best it's ever been. His trades have been mediocre and his signings have been average. However, overall, this off season has been a great one so far. Just sign Brock and we are set.
  2. I hope this is sarcasm because if it isn't, you're just hating for the sake of hating. That's not to say all of Jim's signings have been great, they haven't been. But this one was a great one.
  3. If we stay relatively healthy, there's no doubt we make the playoffs.
  4. I meant continue his 20 plus goals...I'll assume he can especially playing on the top line.
  5. 4x4 if true is ok. Hopefully he can score 20 plus goals and tick that point total up if he's playing in the top 6 which we can assume he is.
  6. Pearson and Bo are fine. I don't think plugging in Ferland there makes the best line with our lineup. I predict Ferland playing with Petey and Brock. With JT Miller playing with Pearson and Bo. How the PP looks like will be an entirely different scenario.
  7. I guess you've never taken into account chemistry or synergy. Just because you have 3 20 goal scorers, that won't necessarily translate into a good line. It's pretty apparent Bo's line would need another guy who can drop some assists on a consistent basis.
  8. That would be a terrible line. Who's setting up who? Pearson and Ferland aren't setting anyone up.
  9. Then we will always be the ones who lost out on players who can make the difference. I like where our young prospects are at but we need a good signing or trade to make us real contenders.
  10. If we can get Myers at 6x6, that's a bargain. It would be a great signing at that price point.
  11. No. It's a function of the salary cap and the % players can make from it. Funny how you mention point total but forget to mention he is a perennial 35 plus goal scorer in his early career. You could have an average of 65 points a year but if 30plus of those points are goals, you're getting paid.
  12. If a player averages a point a game consistently, gets 82 plus points per year, you're getting 9.5 million and over going forward. Anyone thinking you get a forward at the 6-8 million range for that production nowadays is kidding themselves. That's just how the league is now.
  13. Keep dreaming. Market value isn't even 5.75 for him. Elite defenseman or forwards are going for 9.5-11 per. Next tier between 8-9 per. Then next tier is 6-7.5 That's where Myers is at.
  14. It won't be reasonable. Itll be market value or a touch more.
