Nothing against Liverpool. The other lot are the scum of the earth though. This whole thing has been completely blown out of proportion in the media. It's the whole old firm tag having a negative effect on Celtic again - Rangers have (finally) been punished so they feel they have to balance the books by punishing Celtic.

We never usually get snow over here until the end of November/ early December. I love snow. But after 3 or 4 weeks I just get sick of it. Plus it has a habit of coming along every time I'm scheduled to travel... I'm going home a week today. So knowing my luck it'll start then

I bet you my life savings (which is next to nothing, but that doesn't matter ) that absolutely nothing will come of this investigation. I've heard the song in question is "Paddy McCourt's Fenian Army". What, we're being sectarian towards ourselves now?

What's this like? I've heard the visuals aren't too great. I'm probably going to end up renting it once my essays are all handed in this week.

I'll admit that our fanbase has it's fair share of idiots. Celtic have generally stamped out "sectarianism" within their support though. I'm sure there are a few exceptions, but you'll rarely hear sectarian comments at Celtic Park these days. There's still a problem with political songs, particularly among the away support. I don't think songs about the IRA belong in football, despite the fact that the majority of them are celebrating the original Irish Republican Army and their actions during the Irish War of independence. I don't like those songs being sung at a football match, but I don't have a huge problem with them. A lot of people compare them with "Flower of Scotland". So i can see the point. I still tend to avoid joining in with them though. There have been a few occasions where there have been people singing about the PIRA recently though. Which is just embarrassing and I know a lot of people aren't happy about it within our support. Especially when we play Hearts. Everything seems to descend into chaos every time we visit Tynecastle.

Yeah, I guess Why do you want Celtic out of Europe though? Us progressing would only help Scotland's dismal co-efficient. As an Aberdeen fan all of your hate should be reserved for the huns

It was an excellent result for us considering the ridiculous number of injuries the squad has at the moment. I'd say there's a pretty decent chance we could qualify from that group. We need things to go our way in both games next matchday though. That dodgy penalty decision at the end of the Udinese game better not decide who goes through...

I would have been on commenting on how horrible Celtic were at the weekend but CDC has only just started working for me again. Yeah, I saw that. Doubt they'll get the 75 point penalty though, although if they want to set an example it would be a good way of going about it (I'd also love that so much). They're obviously in a terrible state as the papers have been reporting they've had their winners medals seized to pay debts.

There aren't enough soccer fans on here to justify having all these threads for different leagues, so most of them just end up dying because no-one posts in them. I thought it would be better to keep it all in one thread, but other people evidently feel differently because they never post in here. It's kind of turned into a bit of a Scottish football thread anyways...

I know... that's depressing. They've got £260,000 left in their accounts, with a wage budget of £3m. Should they go into administration I've heard that all season tickets become void (?) too. What's even actually involved with admin? Do they just get deducted 10 points and then start afresh?

Rumour has it that Rangers are going into administration on Friday.
