  1. Wait is this still working??? Can I still reply here?
  2. I just stumbled across this and realized nobody remembered me either. But you go back even further than I do!
  3. Holy crap this is still here. Hello old friend...it’s been a long time.
  4. The Hodgson trade is Neely all over again. Except we are getting Neely this time.

  5. First glimpse of the new guys tonight: Time for snap judgments!

  6. I think my absolute favourite part is when he suggests keeping Krog, Pettinger or Brown over Burrows LOL That kills me every time.
  7. One of the sweetest ironies is knowing that every time Burrows scores at home, a song BY THE BAND CLUTCH will be playing. That, and Burrows IS clutch when it matters. This thread should live forever.
  8. If a robot joined Alexander Semin's fan club, would it be an artificial in-semin-nation?

^^ That's definitely what she said.

  9. Not only that, but imagine he gets the Conn Smythe? He definitely has a knack for scoring HUGE goals. This thread is already so epic. It's unfathomable.
  10. Hey, nice to have some e-props, thanks! People are just crazy, I think people need something to complain about at all times. So, it's nice to bring some common sense to the table in the Raymond threads (et al.) In the words of Zach Galifianakis, "Common sense is so rare these days, it should be considered a superpower"

  11. LOL In my opinion, this thread deserves worldwide fame. Or at least nationwide, anyways
  12. LMAO. My dad just said "Burrows was hungry in a different way tonight" I almost peed myself laughing.
  13. Linen was a cheap tablecloth compared to Burrows! (Linden, on the other hand, was definitely the only Canuck that was more clutch, you're right about that)
  14. If Burrows is a career Canuck (which I think he will be), and IF Burrows continues to be this clutch for his career (which he just might), and IF Burrows has his jersey retired in 20 years (which wouldn't be a stretch to imagine anymore), this thread will become the most epic thread in internet history. Just a bit of prognostication.
  15. That's a good point. I just love that Burrows IS clutch. And clutch is burrows-ing a hole to sleep in at night.
  16. This guy has 931 minuses. You know what's most amazing about that? You can only minus a post ONCE. Which means that 931 DIFFERENT PEOPLE have proclaimed the stupidity of the original post. It's not like "oh, I think I'll minus him again." This is one of the most epic forum fails ever.
  17. The grandest irony of all is that Burrows IS clutch. He's got a knack for OT goals that boot teams from the Playoffs (Hawks, Blues...)
  18. Konopka is definitely a jerk. Especially since he's a 4% tipping Holocaust-denier. Crude.

  19. LOL whatever, Krog would have scored that shootout goal
  20. "Here at Nabob, we throw our coffee beans on the ground. You should consider trying Maxwell House"

    1. Shift-4

      Shift-4

yeah that commercial really annoys me. and it always comes on in the evening, I can't be drinking coffee in the evening

  21. Haha thanks man, I'll keep the sig for sure, it still makes me smile almost every time I see it.

  22. Wow, so this is going way back, obviously. I remember seeing Oblivion for 360 and thinking it looked interesting, but I hadn't followed the franchise at all and so it kind of kept me away. Actually, I'm the last guy to think twice about graphics - I'm actually quite extreme the other way, I'd rather sacrifice graphics for the sake of a great story. 6 endings reminds me of Chrono Trigger (obviously a favourite of many). I mean, I like a visually aesthetic game, but I'd rather play an old SNES game with a creative plot and good gameplay (for example) than a 10-hour story with killer graphics. I mean, i might as well watch a movie. Obviously this game doesn't seem to be the case...i'm definitely curious to try.
  23. I realize that this is the 5th game in the series - how far back does this series go? I've never played any of the previous games, but obviously they give a pretty good background into this game, I'm guessing? Would it be worthwhile to play some (all?) of them first? Just curious...since it seriously does look pretty awesome.
