  1. Me waking up to news of more injuries
  2. Phglegm fans saying this contract wont age well... do they not realize they have Markstrom, Huberdeau, Coleman and Kadri locked up to long terms?
  3. most of the noise was coming Calgary, trying to make themselves feel good after their two American star players walked for nothing.
  4. We all know why he signed there, because he looked around and found out nobody wanted him. Now that he’s secured his retirement bag, he can float around and be back to being a rat and suspended.
  5. We don’t have a mackinnon or a makar but they didn’t have a Tanev and lindholm lmao
  6. They will be a good team I don’t think they will be a top contender. They had like 4-5 guys that had career years last season and just signed two guys in their 30s this summer who also had career seasons, I think there will be major drop off in production from key players next season.
  7. From cowgarypuck. The best part when this fool compared burskovsky to Toffololi and the Tanev part. For Kadri, the Flames are a lot more like the Avs he just left than a lot of teams. Deep D (albeit no Makar, but then, they didn't have a Tanev equivalent). Mackinnon is obviously a tier above Lindy but Lindy's still a great player. Huberdeau = Rantanen, Mangiapane = Nichuskin, Backlund > Newhook, Weegar = Toews, Byram = Andersson, Hanifin > Girard, Tofolli = Burakovsky, Markstrom > Keumper. I guess Kadri is the Landeskog in the equation. Colorado has an edge based on Makar and Mackinnon, but it's not huge
  8. Im not even worried at all. The phlegms signed two guys on the wrong side of 30 to long term deals, that’s good news to me. Kadri could be a product of two offensively gifted teams surrounded with superstar talents, he along with huberdeau will be seen to produce offence for that team and I think they will feel that pressure. Prior to his career year this past season, he’s best point total was 55 points 5 years ago. I think huberdeau’s contract will get ugly in like year 3, but this Kadri contract can get ugly real quick.
  9. 1. Edmonton - ONLY because of Mcottery 2. Vancouver - We have a more solid balance lineup, a full season of Bruce and the best GK in the division. 3. Vegas - They will have a bounce back season, but I don't see them as a legitimate cup contender anymore. 4. Calgary - Huberdeau will find out real quick he doesn't have the offensive support that he had in Florida and I think will struggle playing western brand hockey. 5. Los Angeles - let down season. 6. Seattle - Meh 7. San Jose - LOL
  10. 8 yrs for a guy who already peaked lol huberdeau will find out real quick he has no Barkov to take some of the pressure off of him in cowtown. if they load up with lindholm and huberdeau on the top line, the Lames have mangipane - backlund and toffoli as a second line which is garbage. Their 3rd line would be even weaker. I don’t see a lot offence on that team next year. I hope they sign weegar to a franchise defenceman type salary (he’s not one) to screw up their cap even more.
  11. If I'm JR, I'm calling the teams that missed out on Tkachuk. Carolina - Morrow + 1st unprotected NYR - Lundkvist + Kakko + 1st unprotected NYI - Barzal (lol)
  12. I hope it's underwhelming like Torey Krug and Brandon Saad lol
  13. They just had one of their best seasons in franchise history and now their core players are jumping ship Hahaha! something must be rotten inside that locker room, I love it. I hope they get an underwhelming return when they trade the rat, we don’t want the fLames to go on a full rebuild.
  14. Treleving showed great restraint not signing him after losing JG.
  15. Not too much though… not too much. mediocrity = perfect
