I didn't say I prefer small players lol i GOOD players, would I draft Ehlers over virtanen? No but that doesn't mean Ehlers is bad... Its not as black and white as u make it out to be.

Tons of soft players in the league, doesn't mean they cant adjust their game to keep themselves safe and at the same time provide offence and be in the correct position defensively. Ehlers has enough upside for any fan to be excited. Iv watched lots of footage and he's got what it takes, just a matter of time.

I felt the same originally but after watching him closer, i realized the part of his game that needs work is his mental toughness and discipline. His mental maturity isn't quite where his physical maturity is. Going back to junior will only have him playing with kids, this will not help him become the player he needs to be. He needs older players showing him how to respond to certain situations, how to carry himself on and off the ice, how to deal with training and eating habits etc. (he would get it in junior but nowhere near as good as the NHL). I'm excited either way to see how he responds.

Woah, let him learn some English first. He has a lot of adjusting to do. I'm expecting a good 50-70pts. I see him finishing strong as he gets more comfortable

The difference already in his game from prospect camp earlier in summer until now is impressive, he is still tiny but he's getting accustom to the NA nicely. He was so confused and lost during drills because of his language barrier but during game, his instincts seem to come out. This first year in the Q is going to be crucial, he needs to work hard

If it was the real deal ya stand up for your teammate but alot of these guys have nhl camps, junior camps etc coming up and it is incredibly important for their future not to be hurt. Sure it sucks McCann got hurt but the only reason people are crying so much is because we took it personal. It sucks ass that McCann got hurt but I wouldn't want some other kid go in and fight, get a concussion to and miss his camp. I think people are overreacting big time. To say this team is a bunch of individuals is jumping the gun. Let's see how they play in the real thing.
