      Have you listened to "Privateering"(double CD, on the tube)? Love it!

       

      His writing just improves with age & perspective. Van the man & Dylan must've welcomed MK into the pantheon of songwriting Gawds!

      My Dad had Dylan, Floyd and The Eagles on constantly.  Its rare to find complete bands that play off of one anothers strengths rather than just pushing the prodigy and forgetting the talents brewing in the background.

      I've read/heard the industry sure had it's warts back then, as well. But most all songwriters paid dues & honed their craft over much longer periods.
