The Rangers make the most sense to me.  I don't see a great return from any of the other teams.  IF we are not making the playoffs and need to sell then Miller would be the guy we trade.  We could also trade Motte, Schenn and Hamonic if anyone wants him.

Schneider, Kravtsov, Chytil, Barron and Lundkvist are the prime prospects that should be involved in any trade for Miller.  And of course their 1st round pick...

    Always kappo as well

No dude... It's not funny.  Nothing to do with being soft.  I'm 48 years old.  I've grown up in a much less politically correct time.  In the past I probably would have laughed at your 'joke' but it doesn't mean it was okay.  It was accepted as the norm maybe but doesn't make it right.  I look back on a lot of things I said,  or heard to get a laugh and know now, that wasn't cool at all... Then or now.  Gotta change man.  Being more sensitive and compassionate isn't soft.  Nor is being insensitive, ignorant and flippant a cool or stoic thing either.  Take it or leave it.  Adapt or die on your hill... it's on you.

Freedom of speech makes our country great, and righteous comments on your ethics are unneeded i for one don’t support men assaulting women and I’m disgusted in jakes actions and think he’s a slime ball and trust me I got a lot of mutual friends and the guy has nose beers on the normal. I for one wish everyone would stop protecting this little creepy dude

I wonder if Petey will invite him over in summer to his place in Sweden for some bonding and dry land workouts? (And maybe Myers will invite him to Kelowna a few weeks before training camp to work on stuff like skating and shooting)

Maybe virtanen can invite him to Abbotsford and show him how to chop a line proper and force women into his bed

  5. I think Edler is affective when rested and healthy, I would be fine signing him 1.5 and sitting him back to backs and a couple road trips off if we plan on making playoffs next season if not in our plans I would say time to move on and get the kids in the holes

  6. 1.clarke

    2.power

    3.beniers

    4.guenther

    5.mctavish

are my top 5, mctavish going top 5 might be a bit of a stretch I just love his compete level and what he brings

eklund is really good I just feel like we already have that player and I want to become tougher to play against. With jake more than likley out of our plans to add another solid scoring middle 6 guy is important, I’m not excited about any LHD but power is an exception with what his ceiling brings and brandt Clarke fills a huge hole we have in our prospect group on the right side.

I may be reading a little much into this tourney but with the small sample size we had this year if there has ever been a year to judge a player off of this tournament it would be this year

all in all I can see 1-2 of those guys being available when we pick if we stay top 8

  7. I’m sure enjoying mctavish’s game, kid has such high compete. If we pick around 10 I wouldn’t be the slightest bit upset using our pick on him, can never have enough energy guys. if we get up a little higher 6-8 I hope guenther or Clarke is there for the picking, hope everyone else is enjoying the tournament!

    MAF would be 7m x 1yr (37)

    Lehner would be 5m x 4 (30)

    They both have M-NTCs

They both have had good stats this year, but Pits has a solid defensive record.

If Holtby continues to shine, he might look like a better selection. The Canucks would have to find another solid backup though.  Looking at the UFA market, I suspect they would have to pay around +3m to get a decent goalie.

Well depietro might be an option as a back up actually, none of us have seen him in a year but the fact that he has been working with Ian Clarke all year makes me feel confident he’s ready to take the back up roll on

If he plays like this the rest of the way out there could be a chance!

I was just talking with a friend about this, a lot of factors there may be other teams leaving better goalies but they also may have to leave a bigger piece to the puzzle unprotected and that forces there hand to move on to the next best goalie available. There is a good chance holtby will be a top 3 goalie option for them if he continues this play

Letting him stay in the KHL for one more year to really dominate wouldn’t be the worse thing for his development.

He legit looks like a top player in that league with his play over the last few weeks.

Guys ready for the nhl, better coaching, proper prospect management, and learning the North American ice is important, playing in the khl isn't the worst but it by far isn't the best. We are in need of a player of his skill set into our lineup. I think he will look as much in place as hoglander does right now

Id like us to get a pure skill forward this draft. We have lots of complimentary players, but need a skilled passer to help distribute the puck to our skilled shooters.

I’d love another elite dman on our team. And landing in the top 5 in this draft helps increase those odds significantly, something to give us a little more power on the back end if you know what I’m saying

That’s why the refs looked at it and still gave him a 5 minute major?  Armia is 6’3”. So you can take the big man argument out of the equation. This was a predatory hit on an unsuspecting player engaged with 2 other Canucks at the time.

This didn’t age well for you, as the pros broke down the play and decided opposite of what you think. And I completely agree with them, body checking belongs in hockey no need for the snowflakes to take it out.

And boy am I happy myers is playing mean. Maybe he will get an emotional spark out of petey pissing the habs off and making a game have some feel to it

McD and Drai aren't exciting enough for him? Especially with Klefbom out

Well they replaced him with barrie, and I got a feeling edm wasn’t calling him with offers to run there pp1,

im curious what our D will look like if/when try comes over and I’m happy we can shelter juolevi and rathbone rotate them in and out of the lineup not to much thrown upon them at once perfect grooming scenario.

    hughes- schmidt

    edler-myers

Lol yeah he would. You get an assist for breathing on the puck in the nhl.

    Goalies get assists ffs.

Lol! I literally watched Mcdavid get a point last year I watched it on my pvr like 5 times and he didn’t get within 10 feet of a puck it screwed my fantasy team over hard that week, he must have spit over and touched the puck it’s the only explanation
