Mac and Roussel in and Loui out.  There is no way Eriksson should be in the lineup over either of those two other than the fact he may leave after his bonus this summer if they don't embarass him by sitting him out.  There is no other rational reason.  Bailey didn't even get a game when he was up and MacEwen sits.  What does this tell your players who are working hard and deserve an opportunity.

Bailey got 2 games when he was up I believe, not much of a look buried on the 4th, I was a little disgusted in green scratching Big Mac last game he did everything he needed to keep himself in the lineup but still got scratched, I really liked Louis game vs minny but he hasn’t been consistent enough and has had more than his fair share of top 6 mins. Give the kid 10 games see what happens on Bo’s wing, I feel like he has potential to give that spark this lineup needs and it’s FREE! Lol

  2. Boeser for reinhart straight up.... do it now buys us a little wiggle room with the salary cap to upgrade on stetcher at deadline say a package for a guy like vantanen might be pricey but we become a much more well rounded team with this line up

    miller-pettersson-reinhart

    Pearson-Horvat-Virtanen

    Sutter-gaudette-Leivo/MacEwan

    rousell-beagle-Ferland/Eriksson

    Tanev - Hughes

    Edler - vantanen

Be very careful referencing Eriksson in any negative tone.  Apparently he has rebounded and if you disparage him it is because you hate him.  Problem is the numbers have never supported him. Go figure. Here's his last five games.  MacEwen, Bailey or Lind couldn't accomplish this?

I was actually getting pretty impressed with eriksson for a good 10-15 games there but he just seems to fall back to sleep, the fact he woke up I wonder if there is anyway we could trade him retaining a couple million and getting these guys some reps in the bigs

  4. This got flyers 22/23 off season written all over it, nephew of our very own former QB1 Donovan McNabb, he’s mean like pronger introducing a middle pairing dman at 8 million a year! Darnell Nurssseeeee easy sell to the fans and over paying free agents is kinda phillys thing (I’m still salty about the Hayes signing) thank god flyers are just my eastern conference team

  5. 1. Burrows the dragon slayer

    2. Bieksa Mystery puck goal

    3. pettersson nhl debute goal

    4. Jovo celebrating in the box

    5. Sedin in 4xOT vs stars

keep in mind I was only 3 during the 94 cup run, I missed a lot of great moments but A proud Canuck fan for 21 seasons now, right from the age where I pretended to be bertuzzi with my mini stick between periods scoring on make believed goalies

    Have to disagree.

None of our guys consistently play with the speed and intensity that Motte brings. It’s not a coincidence that our team started rolling with him back. He sets the tone with his tenacious forechecking and gives our fourth line an identity.

He will definitely be missed. I’m thinking we see a Bailey call up now. It’s seems like this would be a good time to see what we’ve got with him.

Respect your opinion I just personally don’t see schaller as much worse of a player and if ferland is healthy I’d rather see him in the lineup, and then guys like mackewen and bailey never know what you might pull out of an ahl  call up trying to make an impression. I didn’t mean anything negative towards motte i  love the guy and love the energy he brings just feel like the replacement there is probably one of the easiest replacements on the whole forward corpse

Travis Green mentioned post-game that Tyler Motte's injury doesn't look good.

Wonder how fer daddy’s status is.... good opportunity to come back on shallow ice time, I’ve liked schaller this year as well I’m confident that motte can be easily replaced, the way he was holding his arm it looked like collar bone maybe....?

  8. And then dipietro emerges as a star in the league, we are fine at the position we got 2 great young goalies, also demko has a year and half to earn the net still, if he’s showing glimpses of being a star in the next year maybe canucks decide to run with him, markstroms will be entering his 31/32 season and if there is any promise shown from demko it’s a no brainer to protect him, like I seen above in benning we trust he seems to make the correct moves more often than not

  9. Gotta love how things have been going for us, Linds out break after a lot of people wrote him off, juolevi finally showing progress, madden in Hobey Baker talks, podkolzin (small sample size) scores back to back in KHL, Hogs lights up the world junior stage, as long as benning is around I feel like we are going to have prospects keeping this boat afloat with ELCs

  10. Thanks for the positive post! I’m very happy to see him turning it around, a little confidence goes a long way in the human mind and I think we are just seeing the tip of the ice berg and there will be more to come as he Refinds his game for the first time in a Canuck uniform, This season has fallen together so nicely and Loui finding his game, producing and being affective would just be a cherry on top
