Now if we can get some more d prospects or picks out of edler and tanev. I already love our top 4 to be
hughes
juolevi
tryamkin
Gudbranson
I know guddy has a lot of haters on here but I disagree with a lot of the comments I read and the uncertainties of try returning but I got faith both will pan out

I missed it, did JB trade a high 6th for a late 6th and 7th?
None the less nice pick here, some raw talent in this youngster.
Extra 6 next year

Honesty happy with this draft, Hughes will be an nhl dman and then if 1 of the other d we pick pan out it’s a win for us! I’m so excited seeing our defence bolstered we don’t have a weak anything in our prospect cupboard anymore!!!!

McDavids speed won’t make our d look silly if we have Hughes out there skating with him, so happy about this pick, he’s our guys to push the play forward fingers crossed it’s addison tomorrow morning

Do they have a prospect pool rank? I’m curious to where we sit, we got to be number 1 for goalies and gotta be a top 5 for forwards ,overall we must be a top 5 prospect pool in the nhl

3rd string? Crazy to think he’s atleast 3-4 years away from even having a shot at playing at this level good to see hockey Canada look at future rather than having some random backup sit in the pressbox doing nothing let the kid get the experience and maybe he is roommates with his future captain bo

He's listed at 176 right now.
I actually thought he looked kinda stocky as well, is that Utica’s digits on him? I feel like he resembles the hard nosed game filip forsberg plays, I know I’m dreaming of comparing him to forsberg but I feel Jeff skinner/forsberg hibred?

Lind's performance so far, this is why we should probably temper our expectations for Pettersson. I don't think Elias is going to step right into the AHL or NHL and start producing at the pace he was at in Sweden. It'll take him time to adjust to the smaller ice, the pace of the game, and maybe most importantly, the physicality of the NA game. Hopefully Lind has a good playoffs with Utica.
Elias has an elite skill set that makes him a top end prospect lind will make it through heart and determination if he does, difference between a high first and second round pick right here (most of the time)

If we wait to sign him until after July 1st, does that mean EP will not need protection in the Seattle Expansion Draft, like Gaudette now does?
We won’t need to protect him regardless

Pitts seemed to do pretty decent the last 2 playoffs with no tough guys in there top 6 I mean hornqvist probably there toughest top 6 player I understand Crosby and malkin are vets and we’re wanting to look out for our rooms but look they brought in reaves and oleksiak this year to toughen up there line up and there not looking like the same team (reaves is obviously gone now) gudbranson is there to answer any bells if need to be example Beating the crap out of Wilson beginning of the season, horvat showed what he’s capable of against nurse last year

Yeah, it's not that surprising. All prospects of quality will have a chance to break into the Canucks lineup next year. It's pretty obvious that they're going the Devils/Aves route next year by going younger and giving prospects a chance to crack the lineup. That said, I don't think Lind will make it. A year or two in Utica will do him a lot of good. I expect guys like Michael Carcone and Zack MacEwen to make more of an impact in training camp then Lind (or Gadjovich), at this point.
We got so many young guys with such high potential I’m expecting one of the 3 dahlen lind Or gadj to show up and surprise everyone and earn a spot

It would be nice if they did a better job identifying which one is Lind since they don't have numbers on the practice jerseys. There was another Tweet that said Lind was in white so I assume he is the player that took the shot towards the end of the video.
Yah I thought the same as well

Giving up his rights will get us nothing.
Paitience is a virtue in this situation.. it’s a no loss situation as it stands.
if he returns we could have a fantastic, skilled, exciting, physically powerful, game changing D man.
I love the thought of a tryamkin at full potential on the small ice don’t get me wrong but I for some reason am a doubter of him returning to Vancouver, I hope I’m wrong or I hope your wrong about his rights being worth nothing time will tell I guess in benning we trust
-
What would his rights get us? As much as I would love to see him come back and even playing at his floor like a sustr type or become a gudas I think there could be a team or 2 eyeing this guy up willing to pay and try and bring him back over seas

Is that 100% decided? Any updates or indications on his projected line when he plays?

In my opinion, it really wouldn't be a huge deal if we blew that year and had to protect AG. The way our forward group is looking around that time, there's not really much of a problem on protecting our forwards....
Bo & Brock definitely protected.
Jake = Protected
Sven = Either way, but probably protected if continues trending right way and can avoid "injury prone" status
Goldy = Probably
Twins = Long gone
Loui = NMC becomes NTC, so most definitely exposed if still around
Gagner = UFA prior to XDraft
Granlund = Probably exposed if still around
Gaunce = Doesn't matter, couple years to decide....if he's still around
Any UFA's = still room for protection.
All our other prospects will be exempt....worked out good that Dahlen went to Sweden as he'll be a "2 year Pro" and exempt.
rotect
Still think we look good for the Seattle Expansion Draft. Only a few "Must Protect" guys, a few "Could Protect" and and bunch of "Doesn't Really Matter" guys. I'm not worried. More than enough room to protect Gaudette.
Gudbranson stetch also need to be protected

Pros and cons on him playing both NHL and AHL for this season?
i for one really wanna see if he will fit in like donato in the bigs but would also like to see him go on a deep playoff run with Utica but that is not guaranteed either
thoughts...?

If gaudette comes in this season and proves he belongs, even better he deserves top 6 mins I think it’s inevitable that Elias and Adam take the twins spots and there playing there last 7 games, I’m for one watching these final 7 games expecting a fairwell, it’s bittersweet but so thankful jim brought in boeser and Pettersson to makes this stardom or former stardom loss much easier
but with heavy hearts

I’m getting a feeling that demko and Markstrom are going to be handed a 1a 1b till one of the goalies pulls away from the other. I feel we got ourselves a top 5 nhl goalie in the near future fingers crossed
