Before today I figured if BC was going to lose I wanted an all Alberta Grey Cup in Toronto. Tickets sales were weak for the game. Was really hoping to see a tonne of empty seats. I'm sure with Ottawa winning tickets sale will improve.

Considering BC was predicted to finish in the bottom of the CFL, I'll take this season as a win and a step in the right direction. Lions won 2 more games at home this year and finished 2nd in the CFL. The Lions put an exciting team to watch on the field this year compared to last. Lions were simply outclassed today.

Was reading an article where he said he's in rough shape. Too much training is not letting his body recover. As you said, they rushed this. Should have built it up and done the match at Royal Rumble. -
Totally killed what glimmer of hope The Lions had at a comeback. 32-14, it would have been interesting.

Wally 2 for 2 on challenges.

Take the point FFS!

Ticket prices have been relatively stagnate over the past few seasons. My season tickets have gone down in price since when I became a holder in 2011. As for the STH base, it did grow this year. It did drop drastically after The Mike Benivedes disaster. There was about a 60% renewal rate which led to the Jeff Tedford experiment, another disaster. Those playoff ticket prices were in line with what all the other teams are charging. My ticket was $128 all in. I sit in the Club Lounge. I get in seat food and beverage service, sit in a cushioned seat and have a table/ledge in front of me as I sit in the first row. Well worth the price. Unfortunately the CFL has the stigma that it sucks and it's cool to hate if you're millennial apparently. It's NFL or nothing for the most part. Skulsky's attitude isn't wrong. Losing and lifting the blackout is what killed this fan base. Can they do a better job? Of course, the teams marketing has always sucked. Wally said it well a while back. It takes 10 years to grow a fan base and you can lose it very quickly. You mention they went 12-6 but couldn't sell out. Fans are fickle, it will take time. Vancouver is full of fans that will only support a winner. That's where the local media plays a role. Their coverage of The Lions, until now, has sucked. Funny you mention Ackles. his formula for success was better half time shows, and extending the black out. Oh, and a winning team that was exciting to watch. Which the Lions have now. Now they just have to keep the team they have. The fans will come back.

Blackout lifted. Few bad seasons. Crappy marketing. Poor customer service. Bad service by Centerplate. The Tedford fiasco. List goes on. I almost bailed last season because the service was so piss poor in the Club Lounge and the Lions inability to win at home.. Glad I didn't. This season was top notch service wise and the Football was exciting to watch. Didn't help it being a 1:30 start with The Canucks playing across the street.

Considering how many people were at the game, just over 19,000. I was surprised at how loud it was. Should have given cowbells to everyone.

Just got home. Great comeback win. Officiating was complete garbage. Wally shouldn't have needed to challenge the PI call. It was obvious to everyone. Took a while for the Lions to get going, did not think they were going to come back. Dirty hit on Arceneaux. Hope to see a fine to The Bomber that hit him, especially since he was arguing the call. Hope he is OK for next week. Weak crowd. Stupid early starts. CFL really messed up not making it a 4:30 start. Getting really tired of The Lions going for 2. Wasting McCallum's leg by not kicking those converts. Take the points. Though perhaps it worked in our favor. That 3rd down field goal attempt never would have happened. They would have had to go for it. So many wide open Bombers today. Hopefully they got the mistakes out of their system. Do that in Calgary and it'll be over by half time.

Looking at Ticketmaster still tonnes of seats available. CFL drops the ball by making it a 1:30 start.

Here's the video, only caught the end of it though.

I have part of it on video. I'll post it in a bit.

Lions laid a real ass kicking on The Riders tonight. McCallum was money. Lost of energy tonight. Great game to be at. Not sure if TSN showed "The Riders" cheerleaders. LOL! Oh, and during the pregame as the Lions cheerleaders were running out. Leone shanked one and missed a cheerleaders head by mere inches.

Everyone should just calm down a little. At least we aren't that guy that predicted Chicago would win the World Series all those years back in his yearbook... -

Coming off the success of WWE Network’s recent Cruiserweight Classic tournament and the formation of the new Cruiserweight division, which airs exclusively on Monday Night Raw, 205 Live will feature Superstars that are 205 pounds and under, including: new WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick, as well as TJ Perkins, Rich Swann, Noam Dar, HoHo Lun, Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Gran Metallik, Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Gurv Sihra and Harv Sihra. “205 Live is a natural progression to showcase the depth of our roster,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative. “With world-class talent such as Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins, and Rich Swann, 205 Live will be a must-see program on WWE Network.” “With the addition of 205 Live to an already robust programming schedule, WWE continues to enhance the value of WWE Network for our subscribers,” said Michelle Wilson, WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer. “We take pride in listening to our fans and delivering even more live, premium content that they are asking for.” Looks like we may have seen the last of The Bollywood Boys. Congrats are in order though! They made the big show. -
That critical field goal was a 62 yard attempt. Only 1 kicker in CFL history has hit 62 yards. Oddly enough, that would be Paul McCallum.

Too late to postpone the Lesnar/Goldberg match? Goldberg is in no shape to be in that match. -
Really surprised but really happy with Wally on this one. Let Leone do the punting and Paul kick the field goals. Not sure if Leone will be sticking around after this season, but having one of the best kickers of all time to learn from is definitely a positive.
