  1. Only for the last 30 minutes saving this i was going to leave.
  2. Not really, That's what made it so good. Like the first time i seen Old Boy.Love Korean and Asian films. Some things do get lost in translations of East Vs. West culture some times.
  3. Right on .... watched this on Netfix last week.
  4. Not surprised by this one bit. The main roads would be not bad, but once you venture on to side streets that's going to be the tricky part without snow tires.
  5. Yeah , i guess i will be pulling for the Cubs too , not too many people around who remember their last WS championship in 1908.
  6. I'm hoping for a Cubs /Indians series as both teams combined haven't won a WS in 175 years.
  7. Seen it also, i would give it a 3.5 to 4 IMO , pretty paint by numbers. Reminded me of Pulse from 2006 with Kristen Bell. By the ending you just know they are going to make a Friends Request 2
  8. One of the first and best of the " found footage " genre that was released in 1999. Creepy as hell and they even had fake web sites with the history and mythology surrounding the area and the Blair witch herself. For a few hours after i seen it i actually though it was based on true events....lol . If you can waste your time on the Terminator Genisys movie ( garbage ) then you'll have no problem watching this.
  9. Nice one ! Got this on DVD when it was released. Some of those 80's horror flicks are quite a treat. Another one that is good for a laugh is Braindead or Dead Alive, Brain Dead is the original title of this New Zealand horror flick done by Peter Jackson in the early 90's . Jackson began his career with Bad Taste, another horror comedy worth a watch from 1987.
  10. Just finished watch a great Asian horror flick from Taiwan called The Tag-Along. Pretty creepy ride and well worth a watch for anyone into horror movies. Check it out before the Hollywood remake that is bound to happen in the near future. Synopsis for IMDB Based on true events and long-circulating urban legend in Taiwan. Wei is nowhere to be found one day before his grandma returns from her own strange missing incident. Wei's girlfriend desperately searches for his whereabouts and finds that it is the horrifying mystery of the little girl in red that has followed and haunted them all along.
  11. The Green Enferno 6/10 Another gore fest by Eli Roth Was interesting up until the first kill, but quickly goes down hill after that. The movie borrows greatly from 2 movie which are Cannibal Holocaust and 1981's Cannibal Ferox.
  12. I agree, been following Baseball off and on since 1977 and i would love to see a Jays / Cubs W.S. with the Cubs taking it .... why ,because 107 years is a long time between championships.
  13. This one was right up there,my all time favorites are the 1980 NLCS Phillies over the Asrtos and 1991 WS Kirby Puckett (R.I.P. ) taking the twins on his back with a game saving catch and walk off homer to send it to 7and the championship. and the catch
  14. Knock,Knock 5/10 From Eli Roth, Found the movie to be very unrealistic and over the top. 1 hr and 30 mins i will never get back.
  15. Well , thank baby jesus the NFL is on again.
  16. What a simply beautiful puppy !!!
  17. Hard Candy (2005 ) 9/10 Pretty intense flick about a teenage girl turns tables on a fashion photographer she meets in a chat room. Cold Fish (2010 ) 9/10 One of my favorite films of the last five years and if you are a fan of Takashi Miike or any of the new wave of Japanese directors in the last 20 years you will love this. Directed by Shion Sono, who also did Suicide Club and Strange Circus. The Cooler (2004) 9/10 Another one of my favorites from the last 15 years is this Drama starring William H. Macy, Maria Bello and Alex Baldwin. Movie is about the unluckiest man in Vegas who works as a Cooler at a Vegas casino. Great performances by all the cast.
  18. Well, i enjoy all kinds of horror flicks. I liked the premise of CITW ,maynot be everyone's cup of tea ,but i liked it.
  19. I watched it again last night and i think you're right . Best one i've seen since Cabin In The Woods.
  20. It Follows 8/10 Seen this today on the net and must say it is a very creepy movie most of the way through.I won't ruin it for anyone, the movie is not without it's faults. Well worth the 100 minutes IMO.
