  1. ^Yea I like Brendan, seems like a cool guy.

Yeah he seems like quite a solid fighter. Also a pretty nice guy as well. He was genuinely concerned for Matt Mittrione's health, in spite of the fact Mittrione seems like a giant douche.

  2. I could watch this show just for Rampage's remarks laugh.gif

    Impressive arm-bar by Marcus Jones.

Looks like Kimbo will be stepping in...

seems like Matt has concussion-like symptoms or something

I'm so sick of watching the end of every episode and having the show hype a potential return for Kimbo. Kimbo has really grown on me this season, but I'm tired of seeing TUF faux-foreshadow Kimbo's return with an injury that turns out to be minor. It would be hilarious if someone did get injured and they had Wessel come back for team Rashad. Remember, Mitrione isn't from team Rampage.

  3. Kimbo is a noob though. I like the guy, and all the power too him. But he sucks and will never make it into the UFC.

It's too bad he had a terrible corner. Greg Jackson would have done a better job preparing Kimbo. As an MMA fighter, he isn't very good. He does have the tools to get better though. He is an athletic looking guy.

  4. Anyone remember when Nelson was outside with the guys talking about how if you got a guy in a crucifix position, you could just keep hitting him lightly and the ref would have to stop the fight?

I find it embarassing that a guy would actually make it his game plan to hit a guy with the least amount of effort possible. I think Kimbo has impressed Dana though, purely for his work ethic.

  5. This is the problem with the heavyweight division- too much disparity between weight. It was like 230 vs. 264? That is a stupid weight difference. Who on earth wants to see a fat slob sit on a guy for 10 minutes? That has to be the worst possible outcome TUF could ever have anticipated.

Whether you think Kimbo is a good fighter or not, you must agree that Roy Nelson was entirely unimpressive. Kimbo has definitely grown on me. I wanted to hate him for being a thug street fighter, but he hasn't let me do it. Pretty boring TUF season so far. Rampage is a terrible coach, whereas Rashas Evans has the legend Greg Jackson. Hopefully Dana White will realize that nobody wants to watch 2 minutes of fighting in a five minute round. Bring in some guys who are in shape and can actually throw a few punches. Heavyweights are so overrated.

  6. Officially Announced 108 Bouts:

    A. Silva vs Belfort (Middleweight Title)

    T. Silva vs Evans

    Hendo vs Marquardt

Anderson Silva is the UFC's answer to Floyd Mayweather. Dominant, yet I have no interest in their fights.

Also, this season of TUF is going to be pretty boring if last episode's fight is any indication of things to come. Too many guys who can only last about 60% of a round. None of the guys look like they are in decent shape, except for the ex-football players who are only used to 3-4 second bursts.

  7. Having a UFC fight in Vancouver isn't the problem. The problem is having thousands of Ed Hardy toting dbags conglomerating in one small area. Too many people get roid rage after seeing a fight and the only thing on their mind is trying to find someone to punch out.

I went to a Muay Thai fight at the Maritime Centre in East Van. Some heavyweight from Surrey landed a huge knockout via leg kick (was awesome). When I was outside all these tools were talking about how badly they want to fight somebody after seeing the big knockout. UFC isn't the problem, Vancouver is the problem.
