    Stupid nhl. They condemned us! Give us the toughest games and toughest schedule every season. Then at end of season they give us the easiest. It should be a blessing but canucks could never come out of the gate storming. Hopefully with tocchet can help change this culture

    No it's the defensive coach. Now Meyers not afraid to run opposing players through the boards. We have a better pk now. Tocchet is letting Meyers play the way he wants and not afraid to get into penalty troubles. This is how the canucks should play instill fear into opposing players because we have nothing to lose. It's best because we can actually learn to pk for the upcoming season. Start to learn to play for next year.

    If season don't matter anymore, then assume these games should ALL be pre-season. They should bring up all ahl players who they think can make it to the nhl. So they can start evaluating them now. Early head start. So next year will be no excuses, we got about 20 games of pre season make it count for the tank
