These people are not "fringe crazies" but fellow Canadians the same as you and I. They have raised over $6M in about a week, which shows they do in fact have a lot of support within this country. Get out of the groupthink and open your minds, it is time to end these destructive mandates.

Never underestimate the propensity of the simple minded to be grifted by charlatans.

I actually just noticed that a Hudderite community in Manitoba is going to provide a rest stop etc., for the convoy. Probably one of the largest anti gov't sect of people in Canada. They have their own schools, rules, and are very wealthy as a group. Rest assured, they're anti vaxxers too!

I have been reading a and listening to a lot information in regards to immunity- from catching Covid- vaccinations and both.

This article contains some good info including some from a longitudinal study out of the UK

I think the last guy said it best, especially the bolded, but this guy I know on Facebook says different.

And what does Moore think? He was just ready to take a pause from speculation and get some data before anyone starts making decisions for themselves or for society. “I’m fed up with winging answers to reporters like yourself, because I don’t know the answer,” he said. “None of us know for sure.”

"temporary"  How long is "temporary" for?  Weeks? Months? Years?  We've thought that a few times then new variants show up that are more infections (and generally less deadly).

My guess is watch Great Britain. We'll be a few weeks behind them.

One of my nephews is 16 and has had a few ups and downs. He was getting into a bit of trouble etc...

I started taking him to the gym with me at 6 in the morning. To his dads massive surprise, his son came with me everyday, 5 days a week for 8 weeks before the closures.  A kid that usually stayed up late playing vids and eating candy. He even started to talk about joining football next year.

He texted me earlier to see if I can pick him up tomorrow for the gym. It breaks my heart that I had to text him back and tell him this news.

I know, I know. Most people support these restrictions but I'm allowed to be sad and concerned for my nephew.

I just wish there could be other ways about it. My gym is very quiet at the best of times, its located off the track in a industrial  area.

I wish I could rent out the gym for private use so that my training partner, his son ( top Lacrosse player in BC, also really missing his training) and my nephew could use it.

If we all paid $25 per hour, then the gym could make $100 an hour, close for 20 mins of cleaning and open to another private group.

That way the gym doesn't go out of business ( they recently put it up for sale) and we could get back to a healthy lifestyle.

Again, I know. I'm just frustrated.

It's sucks buddy but it's temporary. Once our numbers start coming down things will start to open up again. Good on you for doing that for your nephew.

I find it very disturbing so many of you support dummies like turdeau and other elected idiots to just take away freedoms.

It is embarrassing frankly considering how many Canadian soldiers have fought for those same freedoms.

Edit: ...and yes I am vaccinated as is all my family. I just don't support singling out small groups and creating hatred like our pathetic governments has done.

Nope, you don't get to use that one. You guys burnt that bridge on remembrance day.

    Yup.
Antivaxers are total dummies, but at least they arent running around wishing other people would die and posting pics of sick and dying people to get a rise out of people

I can provide countless examples of how wrong you are if you'd like?
