    Virtanen will only be as effective as the officials allow him to be. Ferland has been enabled this series,..Kenins has not,..it's as simple as that. The enabling stops when/if CGY plays another King-pin's team. And - if ya didnt already know - VanCity aint that.,..sorry 'Nucks-fans.

      Just dont understand how the CBC can show a slo-mo replay of a young-player hitting a star player's head and hero-worshipping him instead of calling it dirty. The Steve Moore hit that Naslund party dodged ,..was not a good hit or good for the game. Bieksa barely dodged a head-shot,..doesn't negate that it was attempted. If all is fair - with the Edler/Hertl case as precedent,...Ferland should be before the DPS. But - he's being 'enabled' for Burkie instead like Mcgrattan...
