    THANK YOU SO MUCH to some of you who sent out kind prayers! My best friend, her husband, and their 6-year-old daughter are safe at one of the evacuation center in Sendai-City, Miyagi Prefecture right now... still lack of food, water, and no electricity but my mother got a hold of her parents, just got the news this morning. However another aftershock just hit Miyagi Prefecture with 5+ magnitude... I continue to pray for their safety...

    thank you for your kind words on my status... still can't get a hold of my best friend in Sendai-City... my brother and his family in Tokyo are safe and okay right now.

    There are many after-shocks still, especially in the area where my mother lives... and they're worried about the avalanche (she lives near snowy mountains with many ski slopes). Amazingly some train systems in Tokyo are back in operation from this morning (per my brother & his wife).

      My coworker's sister in law is in Tokyo and they weren't able to reach her.

      So horrible...prayers to all those involved.

    I am a Japanese national, currently living in the island of Oahu, Hawaii, proud to be a CANUCKS FAN driving my old van with Canucks bumper stickers & antenna puck, putting up car flag during the playoffs. We had Tsunami Warning since last night which just got cleared... I got a hold of my immediate family in Japan, they are safe and okay. I appreciate for your kind prayer for my best friend who was in the area that got directly affected by earthquake and tsunami, I still can't get a hold of her...

    hey joe! ya i see that we got into this little slump right now... i think we need our offense to step up and do their part. i personally think lu is doing good. :) i shook my head on my Ehrhoff#5's hooking penalty during our OT on last game vs the flames... but we came out good, and lost in SO. grrrrrrrr. all is well here, but def too hot here, miss vancouver!

    I live on the island of Oahu, where Honolulu Airport is. :) We do experience cooler nights & mornings during the winter months, but people can still enjoy the wave and beach and go surfing during the day. I miss Willie too, but like you said, life goes on, eh? I wish him well in the L.A., we all know too well that he won't be getting the same treatment he used to get while he played...

    OMG how awesome that you know Hamhuis family?! i really like Hamhuis and might have to invest in getting his jersey this season... not sure if i'd get Ehrhoff's one first, i don't think MG will trade Ehrhoff but you never know after this season... all i got is Mitchell's jersey right now. :P
