    I wouldn't say never... I'd guess that at best MG wanted him as a depth D. At the O'Brien, Alberts, Rome levels. But Mitchell wanted more, and quite possibly deserved more. Best of luck to him, well, 2nd best at most.

    Well I watched Expendables. Good mindless B movie with gorey gun fight after gun fight action. Just turn brain off for the dialogue though.

      i agree, i wasn't impressed with that movie at all.....i liked the little chinese guys dialogue....that is about it...there were some funny parts in the schmucks, i just saw.....not many but some.

    Yea, the NMC, well doesn't exactly prevent being sent down to the minors. It's more that you can't move him without their permission, and most likely they don't want to go. But it's always possible they're willing...

    All it could mean is just kicking tires to see what the worth is. It makes less sense now, but the rumor existed before July 1st signings. Could only be MG considering things to make a plan B, C, D, etc

And on Marleau, it's more of a long shot of a dream, but I think he'd be able to help us in many facets of the game and give us a lot of flexibility. But yea, cost issues.

    Well if you read it more carefully I trying to create a checking line. 4th, 3rd, 2nd, whatever, it's all semantics. They go out and do the checking whenever the other team's first line is on. I think they would make up our best defensive forwards. And I also said, it was mainly for the playoffs. Look at the Hawks, they didn't create their's til Nashville.
