I think the lions completely changed this draft for the Eagles lol.

I would have preferred Williams and keeping the 3rd, but obviously not an option after the Lions picked him.

Getting run stop, but I also thought of getting a pass rusher since we need more pressure and sacks.

I feel meh about the Eagles first round.

Honestly think the media is hyping up the Eagles draft too much. Howie yet again like always failed to land a quality talent at CB or S despite the glaring need and the opportunity to do so with Kyle Hamilton sitting there.

I would have liked Hamilton but the Eagles to a fault only draft OL and DL with premium picks.

Getting AJ Brown saved the Eagles draft class but that contract is top 5 WR money so he better stay healthy and produce more consistently or the fans will turn on him.

How is a @gmen81 feeling about Treylon Burks to replace Brown?

Kyle Hamilton is going to be a star. What a steal

I love how the Ravens draft every year. They want want tough and athletic players. They don't reach they get good value by sticking to the consensus board and big time players who produced I college at big programs and also have the mental and physical tools to be a sucess in the pros.

Their only weakness is they seem to struggle to evaluate the WR position.

Maybe they should sign OBJ or Antonio Brown?

The Chiefs and Bills do a real good job of late as well at drafting guys who fit.

Not to mention the Rams, and Bucs, and Packers. Coincidence they are all top trams and annual contenders? I think not.

The Steelers got some studs at WR with George Pickens and Calvin Austin too though.

Lol @ bad luck having wached Imola last weekend.

Ferrari need him to wakeup. Red Bull is back and Mercedes-Benz won't accept being doormats the entire season. I am sure Merc will be more competitive down the stretch when it matters most after they have the summer break to take a hard look at things.

As a Ferrari fan, hoping Sainz finds his rhythm in Miami next weekend at a brand new track with a welcoming Latin vibe to calm him down after two disastrous results.

They need him to compete with Perez so Leclerc can focus on Versappen.

Bucks take Game 1 101-89 over Celtics, Giannis had 24 points 13 boards 12 assists including a fun Play where he threw the ball off the backboard and then dunked it.

I feel like it's a lock go be Warriors vs Bucs in the Finals.

I dont see any teams knocking either off unless there are unforseen injuries like when the Raptors beat G State.

  4. Race goes live in 1 hour down under in Melbourne at Albert Park!

Let's hope for another great start and battles throughout with a great finish the last 20 laps like the last 2 races.

Possiblity of safety cars to shake up the order.

Who can control their cars the best to keep them from bouncing I am interested to see.

Can Carlos Sainz a victim of bad luck last night starting P9 bounce back to finish in 4th?

Hoping for Leclerc vs Verstappen round 3 tonight!!

To be fair, hockey is only behind Soccer and Cricket for worldwide audience.

I think soccer would be an amazing thing for Canada to focus on developing, so maybe their appearance will inspire future youngsters to put on cleats.

I had no idea cricket had such a large following still with modern attention spans and with younger generations. We all know about how MLB is trying to tweak and modernize the game to have greater appeal to attract more new fans and convert the casual fans into more invested customers.

    You're massively underestimating our opponents.

It's a major accomplishment just to even make the WC. If we don't make it to the round of 16, sure we'll be disappointed that the run is over, but it's by no means a failure.

    1000 percent correct.

Canada has to prove itself to be taken serious as a soccer nation no... true "footballing" nation on the come up like the U.S has been trying to do.. albeit with about a decade and a half head start.

Don't forget Canada's men's basketball team has still to even qualify for an Olympics much less win a game despite this clearly being Canada's golden generation.

I'm not much of a soccer fan in general, so I really don't know how Canada will match up.   The seeding is determined today for most teams, so that schedule is set.

According to the media I have watched, they said internationally Canada haven't played Croatia. But Canada have played Belgium and Morroco in the past, and have lost every match.  Last one was 4-0 loss vs Morroco, not sure how many yrs ago though.

I think the best way to think is that this is alll new Canadian team, and historic records don't matter since they were so poor in the previous decades.   So it's possible Canada can beat them, but World Cup is huge stage (bigger than Olympic soccer) and you don't know how the current group will perform until they get there.  My expectations is that they can compete, and at least score a goal and not get shutout 3 times like in 1986.  Can they win a match or two, and make it to next round?  I hope so. But that's the appeal of this to me. You don't know how good they are, especially if they are completely healthy in Nov (their best player Alfonso Davies hasn't been playing this last window, and they lost two games).

Without Davies in form and healthy Canada's only hope is to draw.

Davies is their talisman. He is like Neymar was to Brazil without him they lose that special quality that is critical against big time opponents and clutch situations.

The pots are quite heavily based on historical performance and not just the last 10-20 games.

That said, I think reasonable expectations for Canada are to score a goal and draw a game. Anything in excess of that is a bonus for me. Canada is unlikely to shock the world in the Fall. The real victory will be in giving kids around Canada the belief in soccer as an alternative to hockey. Youth soccer is still overpriced, but it is cheap in comparison to hockey in Canada, which has basically become a sport for rich kids.

Yeah Canada needs to focus on sports the entire world actually gives a $&!# about. Let's put that money into soccer and basketball.

    Hockey will always be there...

  10. Congrats for qualifying and doing something that loser underachiever Canadian men's basketball team can't seem to do despite their NBA talent.

This team showed heart they don't have the most talent but they have some decent skill and some good speed and overall team belief thanks to the coach.

They kinda remind me of when Iceland played England. Underdog team that came out of no where.

Why do loser teams give up valuable draft picks for older players who are in decline?

He is not in decline yet. Still has plenty of tread on those fast wheels.

He was on the last year of his contract and wanted to be the highest paid WR after he saw what the Raiders gave Davante Adams.

Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources tell ESPN.

This NFL off-season has been epic so far and we still have 1 month until the draft as the crescendo!

I heard Buccs might get him, but I think he'd be like a Torey Smith tbh.

That said, it's still an improvement and a one year deal wouldn't be bad.

Looking more and more that the Eagles will be using a first round pick on a WR for the third consecutive season.

Hopefully third time is the charm!

Garrett Wilson or Treylon Burks would be worth a shot.

Zed Smith backed out of the deal and J.D McKissac backed out with the Bills. Meanwhile Randy Gregory switched up on the Cowboys to join the Broncos.

If I'm in charge, I blow it up. They could get solid return on Metcalfe and Lockett as well.....

I would like Lockett on the Eagles but I don't think any WR is overly excited to catch passes from Jalen Hurts. Maybe trade for Metcalfe and use his anger when Hurts can deliver the ball on time and with accuracy to block dbs into next week in the run game! :P

As a Broncos fan, I'm not parting with the kind of assets it would take.  He's a hell of a player and I admire his toughness, but it's a miracle he's been as durable as he has been with the way the offensive line plays.  I would suspect age will catch up with him sooner than average.

This is why Russel Wilson needs to move on in the off-season to a new team best fits are the Broncos or Saints imo.

Other than the OL and DL the Broncos team is good enough right now.

You put a veteran qb in there like Russel Wilson or Aaron Rodgers with all those offensive weapons and you have a potential SB contender imo.

No time for a rebuild. Use the cap space left and picks to get a qb that makes your entire team better than any personnel moves would have.

Elway did this before with Peyton Manning, and they can  have similar results with another cagey veteran getting added to this young team.

Had a feeling Wilson would want to be in Denver. Elway knows how to recruit a qb the thin air is great for a qb like Wilson who can throw rainbows and moon balls.

  15. Is Julio Jones considered washed? Or does he have something left in the tank?

I would not mind a 1 year type deal. @c00kiesfor the Eagles.

Eagles have been too quiet in free agency. Howie Roseman gets a 3 year contract extension and so far he hasn't made a truly significant trade or signing.

NFL draft right around the corner.

NFL off-season is insane this year...

Mayfield looks like he wants out of Cleveland. He wants a trade to the Colts but I’m hoping he gets traded to Seattle. We really need a good QB to replace Wilson and Mayfield would look great. Hope Hawks find a way to make a move for him

He fits the type of guys Carrol likes had an abrasive attitude and with a little piss and vinegar.

That OL is still bad though you need a mobile qb.

Apparently they like Drew Lock as well and think he could start for them. Don't see how he does better when they already have a good supporting cast in Denver and a good defence.

Seahawks might be better off in drafting their franchise guy. Malik Willis is Jalen Hurts with a better arm and is very dangerous on the ground.

Most exciting part of F1 this season to me is the return of the rivalry of Hamilton vs Verstappen.

Hopefully Red Bull have a car as capable to fight Mercedes because you know they will be right there at the top new regulations aside.

This is a big year for Charles Leclerc he has to clean up some of the mistakes he makes in qualifying and the races and show he is the better driver in comparison to his young challengers George Russel and Lando Norris.

Ferrari is a team to watch they have been looking for an "agressive design" to try to get an early leg up and have been taking ideas from former Mercedes and RedBull personnel to try to catch up to their rivals at the front of the pack.

I would be shocked if Ferrari can compete with Mercedes or RedBull off the bat. The engine and chassis of those teams as well as the pit crew and overall team consistency are so far ahead of the others.

But if the car Ferrari produce is a clear third best on all tracks they will have taken a massive step imo to becoming a consistent podium threat again.

    F1 is back BABY!!!

Yes. The Pen fans on HF seem to covet Boeser, since he reminds them of James Neal, who had a ton of success playing with Malkin. I think there's absolutely a deal to be worked out for Marino. I'd love to ship Poolman to them, but realistically it'd probably look something like.

    To Pittsburgh

    Boeser (50% retained)

    Hamonic

    To Vancouver

    Marino

    Kapanen

I don't mind it. Kapanen is a much better skater than Boeser and playmaker although he can be a little injury prone and doesn't always play with consistency.

Marino would be the biggest get as the Canucks are desperate for a proven top 4 d man who is in the age of the core group.

I also would consider Garland to the Rangers for Chytil, Lundqvist, and a first to really reshape the d core.

Ideally they can move out Myers or Schenn for some decent assets.

Sat Shah on the post-game (the section when Woodley was on) was saying that the issue has been valuation.  He believes that management are open to trading players but he's implying that the offers haven't been there.  Says he isn't excited when he hears that teams are offering a 2nd round pick and B-prospect for Garland for instance.

If the Canucks are to consider seriously moving Garland to the Rangers, who have reported interest, they are getting a cost controlled certified 2nd line winger who is just entering his peak prime years.

I would expect back Chytil, Lundqvist, and a first round pick at minimum!

How does a third line winger like Brandon Hagel get 2 firsts and 2 young players from Tampa when Garland is the better more proven player?

I LOVE the black, red and yellow-gold. However, we can't keep leapfrogging back and forth between colour schemes.

I would actually love to have the green jersey/blue helmet-pants combo like Abby's. No NHL team has that look and the Canucks can own it outright.

Hmm don't Minny or Dallas come to mind in the greens?
