  1. Hawks in 6. Blues need to get all their injured forwards back to have a chance.
  2. Definitely hoping the Wings can win this. As recent history has shown, the best chance of taking out Boston is in the first round. Wings in 7. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Boston goons their way through this.
  3. I don't think Columbus has enough offence to be able to make MAF fall apart like he has in recent playoffs. Pens should be able to get by just on offence alone.
  4. I'm surprised Columbus has more votes than Pittsburgh. I don't think Columbus will be able to handle all of Pittsburgh's offence, and Horton is out. Pens also won the season series 5-0. Pens in 6.
  5. Then Rangers should be able to win this. While Philly has a really good offence, I think Rangers should be able to shut them down. Though it should be one of, if not the most entertaining series this round.
  6. Dallas won the season series, and I'd never count out the team with the better goaltender. Stars in 7. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Ducks dominated this one.
  7. I think Rangers win this, I think they just match up well against Philly. Though if McDonagh isn't playing, I think Philly wins then.
  8. As much as I hate the Kings organization, I think they win in 7. These teams seem pretty evenly matched, but I think getting Gaborik at the deadline will be the difference.
  9. I'm going to say Habs in 7. Bishop's health is a big factor here. While I want a Canadian team to win, I also want Salo to win. And since Salo might not have much hockey left in him, I'm hoping Tampa wins this series.
  10. Shouldn't it be Atlantic Division (2) Montreal vs (3) Tampa Bay? Although Tampa can still pass Montreal for home ice.
  11. Which is why I said 'for now', since Canucks play tomorrow while Coyotes and Stars don't.
  12. I said for now, because of tomorrow's game. Great to see that people will post before fully reading what someone had to say. This. I'd rather the Canucks be eliminated from losing a game as opposed to scoreboard watching.
  13. Funny to see Lu keeping us alive, seems fitting. Stars and Coyotes don't have easy schedules, so it's possible they both lose out, although very very unlikely. At least the Canucks control their fate again, for now anyway.
  14. Is this Salo's first game vs the Canucks since he signed in TB? Canucks facing two of my favourite players on back-to-back nights. Hard to cheer against those guys, but I'm hoping for another win.
  15. Kind of a must win. I don't think our offence will improve all of the sudden, but you never know. Also doesn't help that Dallas has done well against us this season.
  16. I agree with what you're saying to an extent. I think there is a team destined to win every year. And since 2004, only the Wings, imo beat a team destined to win. You don't need to try and convince me of anything, I was just curious, with all things considered, which exact team you thought would win.
  17. Is that because of their cup drought? I think they'll win it soon too, though I don't think this is their year. I'm thinking a Cali team, most likely Sharks.
  18. I'm guessing he'll say one of the southern U.S. teams, but there's a few to pick from that will be in the playoffs. Though I don't know if anything that happened on trade deadline changed his opinion or not. I can't speak for the other sports since I don't pay enough attention to them, but as for hockey, I think it's pretty clear that some teams get many more favourable calls than others.
  19. TOML, if the playoffs are rigged, who do you think will get the upper hand this year? Just curious to see your opinion on that, now that we know what all the teams look like with the trade deadline being over.
  20. Could be Kesler, Edler, or even Luongo's last game as a Canuck. I certainly wouldn't want to miss this game.
  21. I was hoping Mark Donnelly would sing the anthem.
  22. I highly doubt all 3 of those Oilers, if any, would make the team ahead of Perry. I also think Bernier, Reilly, Kane, and Ekblad are long shots to make it.
  23. Milbury's the worst at everything. No way Kesler would waive his NTC to go to Buffalo.
  24. Canada obviously has the best depth of any country, you don't need a tournament to figure that out. To me, the Olympics isn't about which country has the most depth, it's about the best playing the best.
