It would so be the Canucks to now go undefeated the rest of the way but still come up short... Really think they could do some damage in the playoffs if they were to make it though. Trying to keep the hope alive.

Belgium will be tough. Croatia and Morocco are beatable. They will most likely face Germany or Spain if they place first or second. It's not based on ranking. First plays against second of group G and vice versa.

It's preseason. Doesn't mean anything. There are teams that bomb during the preseason and then turn it up once the actual season starts. Same goes for teams that dominate preseason. Canucks have had very successful preseasons and then went on a losing spree to start the season. Fans put way too much emphasis on these games. If we start losing during the regular season, then we can start to panic and demand more from the team but for now, let's wait. A lot of new faces on the team, takes time to get to know each other. Plus it wasn't our full roster yet.

France plays a very good defensive game and then countering with Mbappe is incredible. Your best players were Kanté & Pogba. They played very well. I do wonder though how France will respond if they end up being behind. They got the quick owngoal now and closed shop basically. Granted they are very good at that. Germany doesn't have a finisher unfortunately. They are strong but no one to finish the plays. I think they will go far but won't go the distance. Will be an interesting tournament!

Yes, an awful owngoal but normally defenders are taught that they are never allowed to pass the ball between the two posts so that they can avoid such mistakes. Reason also that the keeper went off to the right. Defender should've passed the ball to the right of the post. Still a bad mishandling of the ball though...

Belgium. Had last week off which was great as I was able to watch the whole Minny series but now back at work. Will be harder to watch the games now :(. Looking forward to tonight though!

Same here. Glad it isn't 4:30 AM (Central European Time). Was only able to watch the 3rd period last game due to having to go work the next day. Will be interesting game. Think the Canucks can pull it off but will need a full effort. The Blues won't sit back this game I think.
