  1. least entertaining is pens vs jackets. This series has been a beauty imo. The tides are always turning, it's fast, skilled and physical
  2. Kassian's development was hindered in Buffalo. His 2 years there meant almost nothing and when we took him on, we pretty much had to mold him from scratch. If we draft Ritchie, we can groom him from the start
  3. it's a sign of players not being able to finish. How often do we get to see a shot get ripped top shelf? 30/30 shots by our players go right into the goalie's crest or misses the net
  4. yea I always thought that would be the fair way to do things but too bad it will never happen
  5. there's a reason why tommy was never ranked #6. Don't look at numbers, Ritchie has the tools Sestito can't even hope to dream of
  6. I just hate seeing the garbage Boston gets away with. I never wish for any player to get injured but...
  7. Ok i read the last 10 pages and here's what I'm going to say. we need to address our needs. Skill is necessary in every division, conference, league. However, why not take a guy that has skill and size? Everyone here is arguing and defending the guy they want, but are making stuff up to make the other guy look bad. I'm just going to say that I'm all for Ritchie. It seems to me that everybody is saying his dominance won't translate to the NHL. I would like to point out that Lucic was 220 when he was in the WHL. Whether Ritchie loses weight or gains weight, he will most definitely get stronger. He has skating that does not hinder his ability to get to where he needs to be. He is a good skater for his size. He has very good vision and is a good passer. He also has a very good shot. On top of that, he runs guys over. And guess what? When he goes to the NHL, he'll continue to run guys over because he is only going to get stronger
  8. It seems like you have something negative to say about anybody that's not in the top 5
  9. There are guys like Ehlers and Nylander in every draft and maybe with a bit more size
  10. I agree. He has no problem getting to where he needs to go. He is a very decent skater. He has very good vision. He makes great passes and has a very good shot and can pick the sweet spots. He is also very physical
  11. For chest I do 8x4 DB flatbench 8x4 DB incline 8x3 pec flies 2x a week and pushups every other day This isn't nearly enough is it?
  12. So basically the Canucks lack in everything
  13. So basically the Canucks lack in everything
  14. Buf needs to lose weight because it affects his mobility. Ritchie has no problem getting to where he needs to be. Bertuzzi, Lucic, and Pyatt were never asked to lose weight. Ritchie will not be asked to lose weight either. Why? Because they're power forwards and they use their weight to their advantage
  15. Ryan nugent hopkins is the same height as tarasenko so I assume he'll have no problem putting on 48 pounds? They're not going to put on so much weight because they don't need it and it'll affect their skating
  16. If either of them hit those numbers, I'll staple my balls to a bruins jersey. I can guarantee you neither of them will hit those numbers. Especially Jensen
  17. I can see how that might work. Horvat and Kassian can create space for Ehlers to go to work, and they can clean up around the net. However, I envision a 2nd line that brings a completely different element than the first line. I see Ritchie, Horvat and Kassian bring skill, while destroying their oponents physically, and making defenders cringe every time they step on the ice.
  18. Horvat is built a bit like Toews. He's not big but he is rugged and doesn't get pushed around. His size is very average. Jensen's size is also average but he isn't nearly physical enough Gaunce is big but I don't see him fit in the top 6. He'll probably be a very solid 3c So yea we don't have enough big-skilled guys
  19. Our skill level has gone downhill and we only have one big guy that has skill. We need what Ehlers and Ritchie can bring. The simple thing to do would be to trade for Anaheim's pick and draft both. However, they both play LW and we already have Shink on LW. So that means we can only get one. I see Shink on our first line so that leaves a hole in the second line. I see Horvat centering that 2nd line so the question now becomes, who compliments Horvat better? I think that someone would be Ritchie. Ritchie - Horvat - Kassian maaan that is sick nasty
  20. as long as it doesn't affect his performance, I don't see anything wrong with it. He seems to be a decent skater as well so there's no problem. But yea he's probably got a bit of fat tucked in there
  21. He seems to be doing well with that fat so let him be fat all he wants
  22. You're implying that he'll never grow. Doesn't matter who you are, if someone comes at you at that velocity, you'll feel the effects of it. I'm not rooting for the Canucks to draft this kid but you're completely overlooking his skills and potential.
