The most compelling thing about Jasek is that he was so screwed over by Trinec and has essentially been biding his time until now. It's hard to stay motivated when you miss a major opportunity for development because your GM is a dick but he's kept with it. Looking by age changes things dramatically. Number of seasons/draft year is much more indicative of a player's abilities. An extra year of playing experience is worth infinitely more than a few weeks to a few months of age. Check out seal adjusted scoring to see how dramatically different these factors translate to production. Also Kole has done an awful lot with limited supporting cast. While Dube is a great puck retriever he is objectively terrible when it comes to offensive awareness. He is just useful for cleaning up garbage as a big body in front on the PP. The Foote brothers are really his only support for creating chances 5 on 5. If you look at production of 100 pt players through the lens of the next best players on the roster, Kole would stand out considerably more.

Faceoffs are less talent-focused than other aspects of the game. It has a lot to do with strength and technique. Typically it becomes a test of strength if cheating is kept to a minimum so for Elias to have those numbers as a lanky teen vs 30+ year old men, that's extremely promising. To tack on a massive caveat though, there is also massive grey area where a win that is not clean still counts as a win but causes trouble for your team trying to set up during a PP. Conversely while a dirty loss counts as a loss, if you are holding the puck out of harms way in the defensive zone, it can be super useful.
