Some people have jobs you know it is Friday. The game started what Wednesday? I usually am pretty tired after work, so I tend not to particiapte to much anymores on weekdays. Sorry. I'll be a bit more active tomorrow... till I have to go into work that is.

Abuse.
You know what this was a positive fun thread till you had to bring your negativity and hate onto here and target me like you usually do. if you have a legit problem with me then pm me and we can handle it like mature adults if not then I don't see any need for any further comments from you in regards to this issue or any other issue.
Like Framing dragon said all pet parents view the way the raise their furbabies differently personally I don't see how I am doing anything wrong. My cat is not abused, she is well taken care of and loved.

Deb I don't see how it's any different then dressing a dog up. Sure the kitties may not be overly impressed but they are usually good sports and let you snap a few pictures. Afterwards Gilly (anyways) will and sit/lay with me and is just fine. Her day isn't ruined at all. It's something she has been doing since she was a kitten, she gets just annoyed at being brushed then wearing a costume.
I purposely bought the pirate hat a size to big so the kitties aren't in any real danger.

Yes, because putting a CAT halloween accessory on my furbaby for 5 mins while I snap a few photos is the same as someone beating or neglecting their animal. I am sure the SPCA will hull me away in handcuffs and forbid me from ever having another kitty again when they find out.I should report you for animal abuse.
Gilly is more 'traumatized' when I scoop her up out of her favorite chair and give her a cuddle then she is when she is dressed up for halloween for a mere 5 mins once a year so you can stop with the 'abuse' crap.

Awww cute! I always wanted to dress up my Sally Jayne in a Canucks outfit, but she's a different kind of kitty.. one that attacks.
I find when it comes to dressing kitties up the best thing to do is to sneak up on them when they are eating or sleeping, get them when they aren't prepared to fight. Gilly doesn't like it but is re-signed to it as I have been dressing her up since she was a wee-little kitten. She will sit and pout and glare at me if I try and put something small on her like the pirate hats, but soon as I take out her big costumes (her devil or shark) she runs and I have to chase her down.
Olias really surprised me, I honestly didn't think he would let me put the pirates hat on him. He has warmed up to me a lot in the last few months but still sometimes is wary of me. He has come a very long way considering way back in Febuary when I first met him he hissed at me
which I have been told I was also the ONLY person in existance he ever hissed at. Now sometimes he will come and lay with me (sort off) while his 'dad's' at work. Its so sweet.-

Its that time of year again, the time of year where one dresses their little furballs up in halloween costumes, and then takes embarassing photos of said furballs. I Figured this was a good enough excuse to resurrect this thread and spread the cuteness of everyones furbabies around.
Oilias as a pirate. I was super stoked that he stood still and let me do this to him.

I work with toddlers so I am always getting sick. I also take public transit everywhere, so I am always getting sick.. I am torn between getting the flu shot this year because I am asthmatic and work with children but I also got it last year and was sick the entire year so I kind of don't see the point but without it I am afraid I will get some kind of nasty mutated germ...

And the way that the news has sensonilized this whole ebola crisis has me really worried...but...I don't even see how even if I got the flu shot this year it would protect me from things like that...so I am at a cross roads..do I get the flu shot or not....
oh also I kind of like to read/watch horror films about killer mutated virus even knowning it makes me even more worried about one day catching some kind mutated germ.

I confess:
I get upset when my team doesn't win. I yell at the TV/computer when the other team gets a power play and/or wins the game. I cheer when a fight breaks out, especially when multiple fights break out at the same time. I have no idea what other channels I subscribe to with my cable service besides the channels that play hockey. I enjoy watching two games at once - one on the computer and the other on TV. I get so excited when hockey tickets go on sale.
I also get really upset/angry if my team loses especially if we are beaten by a team I dislike (especially if its LA or Boston or Toronto). I dislike losing to the flames as well because my best friend is a flames fan and she teases me a lot if the flames win...lucky for me it doesn't happen alot ;p

Went to the German Christmas market on Sunday, decked out in our canucks jerseys, and took a xmas canuck photo in the photo hut.
Then we went and tried some german drinks. I had this super yummy rum based one- it was so good but super strong- next time I will just stick to hot chocolate. TS had a german beer
