I am positive, i like how the team has played recently but I'm also realistic, that line will not match up well against the elite western teams guaranteed.

LOL i can't tell if you're serious, those teams' second lines would destroy ours not to mention the Kings, Blues and other elite teams. I can guarantee you our "2nd line" won't even last through January, i hope they can prove me wrong though.

Santo has exceeded all expectations this season, based on what he's done up to this point I'd re-sign him to a 1 year contract so he can prove this season wasn't a fluke.

I'm disappointed in his physical game, he really needs to take some pointers from Sestito on how to throw a hit!!! He usually just gives them a nudge into the boards, that's not going to intimidate anybody. The way he hits i doubt he would even knock Mason Raymond off the puck it's frustrating. That being said he's far from a bust, he needs some seasoning in the AHL. I can see him becoming a Ryane Clowe type player, Clowe however played 4 seasons in junior and 3 in the AHL before he made the jump and didn't breakout until he was 26 so be patient!

Negatives: - Give up late goal, lose in OT/SO same sh*t different day. -The defensive brain farts are getting old, they also take too many risks in the offensive zone GTF back and defend!! - They fire 40 shots on net, i watched the entire game and honestly we did NOT look dangerous Positives: -This team has a lot more bite than in previous years, Nolan was a marked man after the hit on Hank. -Held the Kings to just a measly 22 shots. - Still managed to pick up a point

That's gotta be Bill Muckalt. He looked promising in his rookie season but completely dropped off the next few seasons and haven't heard his name since lol.

Yeah he's had some past success playing with Vanek . However during the last two seasons his production has dropped way off, he was on pace for about 14 goals this year. We've seen flashes of his skill here but not on a consistent basis. A 1C should have the ability to carry a line, we all saw his ability to do that in the SJ series when he was matched up against the other team's bottom pairing and produced next to nothing.

Agree this guy has NOT looked good, but it's still too early to say that he's over hyped or over exposed. It's only 6 games into the season, most of the Canucks opted to sit out during the lockout as well, meaning most of them haven't played hockey for 9 months. You can see everybody's timing is still off, he also has to adjust to play in a more offensive system where he has the green light to make plays whereas in Florida he played in more of a defensive system. Give him a few games he's going to be a solid dman for us hopefully he can start hitting the net with his shots too.
