iceberg187187
Hey what do you guys think of my team, i thought i did pretty well its for a yahoo league. I want to try and get Malkin without giving up luongo or heatley, can you guys think of any fair deals? PS i took a couple Wild players because i think they will be a much more offensive team now that lemaire's gone and no two players should benifit more than Koivu and Burns, especially if he plays wing and hes counted as a defencemen. 1. (5) Roberto Luongo 2. (20) Dany Heatley 3. (29) Martin Brodeur 4. (44) Shane Doan 5. (53) Marian Hossa 6. (68) Henrik Sedin 7. (77) Mark Streit 8. (92) Dennis Wideman 9. (101) Mikko Koivu 10. Victorious Secret
Would you take Duncan Keith or Sergei Gonchar? Gonchar no question. He's more prone to injury though and that's really your call if you want to risk it or not. I'd go with Gonchar still though.

I know you might of been asking Victorious Secret but if I were you I would take Keith.Like Victorious said Gonchar is somewhat injury prone and i wouldnt risk it if I were you. Then again Gonchar could get more points if he stays healthy.High risk high reward I guess
shadowscyne
I think I might go for Gonchar and take the risk. On another note who would you take? Rafalski, Niedermayer, Boyle, or Weber

shadowscyne
Lol..dont worry this is for a different pool with some friends and co-workers Goals 2 pts Assists 1 pt +/- 1 pt PIM .25pt/min SH pt- 1pt of rafalski, niedermayer, boyle, and weber i think boyle as well because he can pretty do much everything weber is good but he plays for nashville and san jose is just better niedermeyer has been minus player 2 straight seasons and is aging rafalski is good overall but there less pims..but i will just go for the star boyle i think plus rafalski had only 10 goals too i think boyle is a safe pick cant go wrong right? G.K. Chesterton
Thanks for the feedback to my question. I'm still thinking about it. I think it's one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make in fantasy hockey. I think Dallas is a better team than Buffalo and Ribeiro's been fairly consistent over the past couple of seasons...

HighwayToHell
Anyone heard anything on when Zetterberg is supposed to see action.....or how bad the groin injury is that is keeping him out of the preseason?
Nucks4Eternity
If I were to look at that trade in terms of winning a pool I would say its fairly even. Nabokov and Luongo are almost even, because you can't really tell who will have the better year, although we all hope Luongo. I would give a slight edge to Luongo. Kovy is a better LW than Daniel, although they are also pretty close in fantasy value, slight edge to Kovy.
FireGillis
Fair trade, but I would do it. I would take luongo over nabokov.
JE14
That's a really fair trade cause Daniel is looking good in the preseason so I would give the slight edge to the team getting Daniel and Lui.
