AmazingNuck
1. Pavel Datsyuk C 2. Dany Heatley LW 3. Martin Brodeur G 4. Marc-Andre Fleury G 5. Bobby Ryan RW 6. Henrik Sedin C 7. Loui Eriksson LW 8. Bryan Little RW 9. Duncan Keith D 10. Zach Bogosian D 11. Kimmo Timonen D 12. Paul Martin D -> waived for Erik Johnson. 13. Nikita Filatov LW -> waived for Perron 14. Tom Gilbert D 12 player pool with 14 picks. And 1. Sidney Crosby C 2. Nicklas Backstrom C 3. Dany Heatley W 4. Marc-Andre Fleury G 5. Jonathan Toews C -> Traded for Corey Perry 6. Devin Setoguchi W 7. Tim Thomas G 8. Shane Doan W 9. Dennis Wideman D 10. Brad Boyes W 11. Zach Bogosian D 12. Ryan Suter D 13. Mikko Koivu C 14. Joni Pitkanen D -> waived for Niskanen and then Niskanen waived for Visnovsky. 15. Semyon Varlamov G 16. Sergei Gonchar D 17. Paul Stastny C -> waived for Stafford. 18. Erik Johnson D 10 player pool but it's a head-to-head. Depending on the pool type, (in these cases, forward points = defensive points), I always take forwards first.. opting to take gambles with defense. ie. Bogosian, Suter, Visnovsky, Johnson. XXCanucksXX
Is the potential upside of Visnovsky better than what Niskanen would bring? I have Wideman, Gonchar, Erik Johnson, Suter, and Bogosian. Should I take the risk and go with Visnovsky or go with Niskanen, who'd be a safer pick at this point? Also, Vis beats Nis in +/- and PPP. There's no PIMs. Id say go with niskanen

ilikeroberto
C - Zetterberg C - Thornton LW - Parise LW - Heatley RW - Semin RW - Langenbrunner D - Mike Green D - Streit D - S. Niedermayer D - Souray G - Lundqvist G - Huet BN - Hossa BN - Kronwall BN - Ryan BN - Blake Only a six team league, explaining the depth. I had sixth pick and two people passed on Parise for Carter and Luongo. I didn't draft a goalie until about round 6 or 7. Took Parise and Green in Round 1 and 2. I was very happy to get Heatley and was able to nab Hossa fairly late, which is awesome (yes, I know he's recovering from surgery). This was the first live draft I've ever done and it was awesome!
