Caboose
To Ottawa Senators: RW Joel Ward [81] To Tampa Bay Lightning: 2013 5th Pick (OTT) To Tampa Bay Lightning: LW Rob Schremp [82] To Nashville Predators: G Jaroslav Janus [76], 2012 3rd Pick (CHI)
Niloc009
We are disappointed to see Joel and Jaro go, but it was integral to the team's future success. Ward became redundant with Downie's great play, and we feel that the addition of Rob Schremp makes us a more dynamic team and gives us some much needed offense. Though we did just re-sign Janus this offseason, it became very clear that Bryzgalov and Tokarski have the available spots locked down for a long time. We believe that there will be a spot open in Nashville much sooner than there will be here.

Crom!
"It was a buy low, sell high kind of day for the Ottawa Senators." They sold fan favorite Anton Volchenkov for Kiril Kabanov and a first round pick in the first deal of their day. A deal that Sens fans should be very excited about, because on top of the first they get a high end offensive talent in Kabanov who looks to be developing into a star power player. Ottawa didn't wait long to replace their departed defensive juggernaut. The man brought in to replace Volchenkov, Fedor Tyutin, is almost as gifted defensively as his predecessor, but brings with him a certain amount of snarl and as demonstrated by his forty five point season, a very underrated offensive upside. The last deal of Ottawa's day was the definition of buying low. While only spending a lowly fifth round pick they have managed to acquire a very serviceable third/fourth liner. Guest AriGold
Hahaha, it wasn't really related to the fact that he was talking about hockey; he's getting on my nerves for other reasons and I let it spill out on here And I'll say whatever I want to Ari.
