Trebreh
To Columbus: Raymond 2.5m Booth 4.2m Ballard 4.2m 1st for Rick Nash 7m ---- Martinek is a UFA clears 2m off their caphit, Ballard is a much better defenceman than Martinek. He didnt get a real opportunity to show his skills here in Vancouver so perhaps a change of scenery is good for him. Booth just hasnt been a fit with Kesler and Raymond would be a top 6 player for Columbus. Our 1st is 26th overall, its suppose to be a weak draft so what can we really get with that pick unless we move up. ---- Rick Nash and his relationship with Columbus and the management is on the rocks, especially the GM leaking that Nash wanted out. He is a star powerforward who's never had a legit centre to play with, It brings size to our top 6 and I think he would be a good fit Kesler because he's not a puck hog and is an underrated playmaker. A new team would rejuvinate Nash's career and bring the hunger back in his game. ---- Canucks changes: Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Jensen - Kesler - Nash Higgins - - Hansen Kassian - Lappiere- Weise --- Jackets changes: Booth - Umberger - Prospal Raymond - Brassard - Atkinson Letestu - Johansen - Gillies Dorsett - Russell - Boll Wisnewski - Tyutin Ballard - Johnson Moore - Nikitin
Canuck223314
That would not land us Nash. Raymond has little value Ballard also has little value Booth has some Our first is a late pick Also they want a goalie.
Bilbro Baggins
It would take Kesler and Schneider + to land Nash. This proposal is just ridiculous. Goddamn!

spudface
Would definitely not take Kesler and Schneider for Nash, however, the only way we will get Nash is if Schneider is in the mix, since Luongo would never wave his no trade to go to Columbus. Therefore, assuming that we keep Schneider, you can almost be 100% guarenteed that Nash will not be coming to Vancouver.
Pears
Columbus just offered me Michael Grabner and a prospect for Nash...but that's NHL 12, so you never know.

Zoolander
How about Getzlaf, and Ryan Package Edler and Kesler while signing Stuart and Salo and the line-up could look like this. Sedin-Sedin-Burrows (Skilled line to play against smaller teams and lead the PP) Booth-Getzlaf-Ryan (Beast line to grind and hack, can take over 1st line duties when playing bigger teams) Higgins-Scroeder or Pahlsonn-Hansen (Checking line with a scoring touch) Weise-Lapierre-Kassian ( Grinding line, can agitate, hit and play when needed) *doesnnt really matter who is put on Lappierres wing as long as hes in the middle* Bieksa-Hamhuis Stuart-Salo Tanev-Sauve Schneider Lack
