-Vintage Canuck-
We're going big this offseason I can feel it. Nash, Parise or Suter will be a Canuck by next season.
Drop Em
Morrison couldn't earn a spot - it had nothing to do with AV "doesn't like him" - Henrik, Kesler, and a healthy Malhotra left no room for him - with Hodgson on the way. He was better off going to Calgary and seeing some ice time. He wasn't an option then, and is even less so now, when the Canucks are even deeper with Lapierre and Pahlsson (who some people are blindly under-rating). Schaefer is a winger. Apples and oranges. WHL rocks
Suter from the Preds. Number 1 UFA on the market this summer bar none.
WHL rocks
Oh and if Lack isn't NHL ready yet and we need a new backup, I believe Harding is a UFA.
Drop Em
There's a few free agents that could help this team off the top of my head id want. . For forwards Moen- Has a cup ring and plays a physical game Prust- At the top of the league for fighting majors every year, good ok the PK and has a bit of scoring touch Tootoo- Plays physical, had a break out year, matured and problems behind, can hit and fight well. Gaustad- Huge defensive center, gritty and great in the dot Defensemen Jackman- Good stay at home dman, gritty, BC boy Allen- Same as Jackman but bigger Garrison- Good size and huge shot could replace Salos Bomb, BC boy Wideman- Great offensive dman could run the PP Jurcina- Huge dman, good 6-7 Carkner- Great team guy, one of the top enforcers and can take a shift, good 6-
Drop Em
Would love to have Moen and Carkner. Apparently Moen wants to move out west as his wife is from out here and he's a western boy. Carkner is a great team player and can take a regular shift. He'd upgrade the teams toughness significantly and he can play a regular 3rd pairing shift. Jackman is a proven warrior and a BC boy to boot, which the Nucks can always use more of. And a possible sleeper would Stu Bickel from the Rangers. He's a big guy and he's only 25. Plays physical and will protect his teammates.
