canucks3322
He got 42 points and 136 PIM in his 2nd NHL season. Not sure what line he was on, but I doubt Kassian gets 40+ points.
-Vintage Canuck-
thank you, didn't he play a year or two in the minors
canucks3322
He never played in the AHL. He only played in the NHL, WHL and BCHL. Before entering into the league he played WHL with the Giants. When he was drafted he decided to play one more year with the Giants before joining the Bruins for the 07-08 season.
-Vintage Canuck-
oh thanks well if I hope Kassian could do what Lucic did but him getting 25-35 points would be good to
VancouverStyle
If Kassian can get to the 20 - 30 point mark, i think i would be ok with that. I would really like for him to develop more confidence so he can use his size more to his advantage. That would not only benefit him, but whatever line he is playing on as well. AK_19
You guys really set the bar low for Kassian. I was expecting at least 40 points with at least 15 goals.
BlurTriX
If he could get 25-30 points i'd be happy.
Mayray2112
I expect him to beat Wayne Gretzky's season points record, Anything less than that he's a bust A BUUUSSSSSST!!! Worse than Patrick stefan
Trelane42
15g 20A 35P, assuming he gets solid 3rd line minutes, would be good numbers for his level of development. If he provides the toughness he was brought in for then I would rate that as comparable to Hodgson getting 55 points in a 2nd line role. I consider the deal worth it if there is no more than 20-25 points difference between them each year throughout their careers, with Kassian's physicality making up the difference. Saber's drafting this year proved that there are questions around Hodgson aplenty. In his first 3 games here Zach showed that he can produce and hit everything that moves. It's just a matter of being consistent, which may prove to be an easier shortcoming to overcome than Cody's issues.
Erik Karlsson
Went to the Roberts camp and is apparently in top shape.
canucks3322
Most people have been comparing Zack to Big Bert. Bertuzzi only had 23 points while playing 64 games with the Islanders in his 2nd season. It took him 6 seasons to finally hit the 50 point mark. So we need to be patient with Kassian, he's still young and could potentially become a guy like Lucic.
